Are You An Arizona Diamondbacks Fan?

The Arizona Diamondbacks are a Major League Baseball (MLB) team that competes in the National League West division. Their divisional rivals are the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants and San Diego Padres.

The team has not performed well in the last several years and are showing signs of a turnaround for their 2013 campaign. I am a big fan of Authentic Jerseys and New Era Hats. While I prefer Minor League Baseball gear, I've also been known to pick up a few neat items from the Majors.

The focus of this article will cover the wide selection of Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball Jerseys that are currently available online for the ultimate sports fan.

What Does An Authentic Jersey Look Like?

Authentic Jerseys feature embroidered patches, 6-button comfort and a heavier material used in the construction of the jersey. These are the same jerseys worn on the field.

What Is An Authentic Jersey?

If you have ever purchased a sports jersey, chances are high that you've seen the terms "Authentic" or "Replica" thrown around. My hope is to properly explain what these terms mean and that the information will help you, when deciding which type of jersey you want to purchase.

The term "authentic" signifies that the jersey is made from the same material as the jerseys being worn by the players on the field. Authentic jerseys have a thicker weight to the fabric, feature embroidered logos and numbering and are highly sought after in the sports memorabilia market.

What Does A Replica Jersey Looks Like?

What Is A Replica Jersey?

If you are a casual fan that is looking for something simple and affordable to wear, simply to show your support for the team or because you like the way it looks, consider a replica jersey.

Perfect for attending live games or tailgate parties, a replica jersey is made of a more lightweight material and has all of the logos, numbers and names screenprinted on the material.

The price of a replica jersey is drastically reduced and available at in retail shops across the country. When you see most people in public settings and they happen to be wearing a sports jersey, its usually a replica.

Major retail outlets like : Wal-Mart, Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, Sports Authority, Academy carry replica jerseys of teams in their local market or region.

Arizona Diamondbacks Minor League System

The Top 20 Current Arizona Diamondbacks Hot Prospects are playing in various phases of the minor league baseball system. If you want to find out more about each player you can visit : HERE

Currently, the Arizona Diamondbacks have a Minor League presence in the following ways :

  • Triple A - Pacific Coast League (PCL) - Reno Aces (Reno, NV)
  • Double A - Southern League - Mobile BayBears (Mobile, AL)
  • High A - California League - Visalia Rawhide (Visalia, CA)
  • Single A - Midwest League - South Bend Silver Hawks (South Bend, IN)
  • Low A - Northwest League - Hillsboro Hops (Hillsboro, OR)
  • Rookie - Pioneer League - Missoula Osprey (Missoula, MT)
  • Rookie - Arizona League - AZL Diamondbacks (Scottsdale, AZ)

If a player makes it to their Triple A affiliate in Reno, the chances of them making the Major League roster improve. Sometimes, players get called up to see if they can handle the big leagues, others get called up due to an unforseen injury and still yet, some players are just ready to shine.

I enjoy watching Minor League Baseball (MILB) more than the majors because I feel more invested in how the players perform. It's as if I am on the ground floor with them, observing their journey to reach their lifelong dream.

While memorabilia collectors champion the "Rookie Card", I'm busy pining about how great their Minor League Card(s) look. It's fun to find out about the future stars of the Major League teams several years before they make their debut.
