Best Moments of WWE Elimination Chamber 2019
History was made at the 2019 Elimination Chamber, new champions were crowned, factions were broken up and we randomly got Lacey Evans walk the ramp and back like it was a beauty pageant. Overall it was a great Pay-Per-View with a sad ending. So lets get on with the best moments of the PPV.
First Ever Women’s Tag Team Champions
After months and months of the women asking for the women’s tag team titles they finally received them at 2019’s Elimination Chamber. The teams were, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan representing the Riott Squad, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville (Fire and Desire), The IIconics, Carmella and Naomi (Fabulous Glow), Nia Jax and Tamina (The Samoan Slaughterhouse) and Bayley and Sasha Banks (Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection).
The match kicked off with Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Bayley and Sasha Banks in the ring.
One of the best spots in the match was a spot that works only on rare occasions, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan all tied up and a superplex of the top rope taking out all six superstars. This is actually a hard spot to execute as it is a complicated set-up but the women executed it perfectly proving yet again that they are equally good as and if not better than the male superstars.
It was a spectacle to watch honestly. After which the IIconics eliminated Fabulous Glow by pinning Naomi in iconic fashion. It was an innovative pinfall that I’d never seen before.
Nearing the finish of the match Nia wanted to destroy Bayley but the plan backfired as Bayley moved out of the way and Jax crashed into the Pod taking her out for the rest of the match.
This then led to the elimination of Jax and Tamina as the Rose, Deville, Banks and Bayley worked together to take out Tamina. We were left with the two teams that started the match. After some close near-falls Banks finally got Deville to tap-out to the Banks’ statement. That ended the match and the Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection made history by becoming the first ever Women’s Tag Team Champions.

More New Champions Crowned
We not only got new Women’s tag team champions we crowned a new intercontinental Champion. Despite having the advantage both Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush failed to capitalize and Finn Balor overcame the odds to become the Intercontinental Champion for the first time in his career.
"Flying Finn"
"Finn becomes Intercontinental Champion for the First time in his career"
New SmackDown Tag Team Champions
That was not all, the Usos defeated Shane and the Miz to become SmackDown tag champs once again. Despite a perfectly executed Coast-to-Coast Shane and the Miz lost the titles. Even at this age Shane perfectly executes a Coast-to-Coast and it is always a treat to watch.
"A Flawless Coast-to-Coast"
"New Tag Champs"
The Main Event
The WWE Championship was on the line on the main event. The entire WWE Universe was routing for Kofi Kingston to become WWE Champion after a 11 year-long wait. This made this match must see, as it could be Kingston’s last chance. Everything about this match was absolutely amazing. Be it the Superplex from AJ styles or the Super-RKO from Randy Orton it was all spectacular. In the end it was heart breaking, as after a tough fight Kingston was unable to capture the title. It was so sad I am not even going to post pictures of the culmination of the match. After the match Kofi’s brothers Woods and Big E ran to the ring and encouraged him and were telling him of how proud they were of him. Kofi though was emotionally broken down.
"AJ Styles with a phenomenal Superplex"
"A Phenomenal RKO"
The Man destroys Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey
This happened earlier in the night but I wanted to finish this edition of Best PPV moments on a good note. Becky Lynch after winning the Royal Rumble was set to face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania but Vince McMahon had other plans, he suspended Lynch and replaced her with Charlotte Flair. At the Elimination Chamber PPV after Rousey made quick work of Ruby Riott, had a stare down with Charlotte in the middle of the ring. Becky interrupted this and the WWE Universe was on their feet as they were excited to see Becky Lynch. Lynch was limping to the ring as she had an injured knee, but that did not stop her, Lynch using her crutches destroyed both Charlotte and Rousey after she was escorted out of the arena.
That concludes this edition of the PPV’s best moments. Hope you guys enjoyed it and if I left anything out or you have other moments to talk about do let me know in the comments down below. Catch you guys next time!! See ya.
