Call To All Boxing Fans to Force Mayweather and Pacquiao to Fight In The Ring
Petitioning Boxing Fans All Over the World
Boxer Vs. Swarmer/Brawler
Ever since Manny Pacquiao swarmed and mauled Puerto Rican sensation Miguel Cotto, fight fans and the media have been dreaming of the Fight of the Century between then seven time division champion, swarmer Manny Pacquiao and undefeated boxing star Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Since 2009, boxing fans worldwide have been awaiting this match. But over four years later, both are now close to retirement and still nowhere near the anticipated fight inside the boxing ring.
Throughout these years, both fighters and their camps have been slugging it out in the media and with accusations and rumors. But not a single physical punch. Not one.
Drug Testing, Purse Splits, Retirement, Ducking and What Else
After numerous discussions, haggling and grandstanding, this fight have still to take off with several road blocks and pit falls over allegations, over purse splits, over Olympic style drug testing and even a perceived and/or real animosity between their handlers and promoters. Not even a mediation process could resolve their petty differences.
In the meantime, the boxing world awaits in the sidelines with no real green light up ahead.
Floyd “Money” Mayweather
After all these years American, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is still currently undefeated as a pro. He is a five-division world champion, who have won eight world titles plus the lineal championship in three different weight classes.
He is a two-time Ring Magazine Fighter of the Year and winner of the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) Fighter of the Year award as well as the Best Fighter (ESPY) Award five times.
Emannuel “Manny” Pacquiao
Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao is a Filipino boxer and currently an elected Congressman in his hometown busy with many things aside from his boxing career.
Though not undefeated, he is the first and only eight-division world champion, winning ten world titles so far, plus the lineal championship in four different weight classes.
He is three-time Ring and BWAA Fighter of the Year, and two time the Best Fighter ESPY Awards.
He was named Fighter of the Decade (2000) by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA), World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Organization (WBO).
Both fighters have long been voted as the Top Pound-for Pound Boxers in the world for several years.
But all these years, boxing fans have grown tired and weary of waiting for these two greatest boxers of this generation to ever square off in the ring.
If you are among those who truly would want to see this dream match before it becomes irrelevant, then sign your name in this worldwide petition.
And let us see boxing history unfold, right now.
