The Bark Park
Cedar Park Bark Park is Cedar Parks favorite off leash Dog Park. This 5 acre park features a dog pond/lake, drinking fountains, dog showers, benches, pet waste stations.
The park is sectioned off into 3 fenced in play areas. There is an entrance for small dogs less than 30 lbs. that allows your pet to play freely with other pets while you relax on a park bench under one of the shade trees.
There is an entrance for the large dogs to enjoy running, jumping, chasing, and splashing in the pond. There is even a Pier or the dogs to jump off of----that is so cool. Of course you can let your small dog play here as well; just use caution and common sense. See Park rules below.
The small dog park has shade trees, there is little shade in the large dog park, and limited park benches, bring a folding chair and a sun umbrella during those hot summer days, while you enjoy being a doggie spectator watching dogs of all sizes, breeds, and colors run and play.
This park is a great place to meet other pet owners, everyone is so nice, and they are consensuses of cleaning up after their pets.
My dog had so much fun running, and greeting other pets. I will definitely make this one of my favorite places to take my dog.
If you are interested in joining the Friends of the Dog Park to improve the Dog Park, the City of Cedar Park is looking for Volunteers with the goal of enhancing the off-leash dog park, where your pets can play in a safe and clean environment. Call Helen Vachon: 512-401-5500512-401-5500 or email parks@cedarparktexas.gov
Doggie Water Stations
There are water stations for yourself and your pets located in all three fenced-in areas, as well as pet waste stations. Tip; bring a dog bowl in case your pet is intimidated by the water fountain, and extra pet waste bags, should the stations be out of them.
Dog Wash and Showers
This off-leash Dog Park allows your dog to swim, jump, and play don’t worry if they get too dirty. There is a dog wash station where you can wash your pets and then you can leash your dog, and walk him over to the Veterans Memorial park while he/she dries off, before going home. Here is a tip, bring dog shampoo and a towel.
