Horse riding pictures over the seasons
This is a small collection of pictures of horse and ponies that I've take with my camera throughout the different seasons. The photos give a good mix of equines in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. They were taken at various places around the world, including England, Wales, Ireland and Portugal.
Equine photography is a difficult art - and I'm only a beginner.
There are photographers around the world who actually specialise in
this field. They're pictures are highly sought after in the commercial
world by equestrian magazines and websites and also on the private
market by individuals searching for a memorable portrait of their
beloved pet. The pictures on this page have a fair way to go before
they reach that standard just yet but I like to think that there are
some promising aspects to them.
If you'd like to use any of the pictures or you have any questions about them then please drop me an email. Or if you have any tips for photographing horses then that would be really appreciated.
All of the pictures and many more can be viewed with a detailed analysis and description at the blog Equestrian Photography. There are also a number of Google groups available to share equine photography advice.
