Making the best time of your visit to Raging Waters
Tickets and Passes
This summer we (my boyfriend, 2 teenagers, myself and my 1 1/2 year old gets in free) purchased season passes and a parking pass to raging waters! we bought four of the $59.99 tickets which is an everyday plus weekends pass and a parking pass that cost $74.99. The daily regular parking ticket cost $15.00 and the VIP parking cost $20.00. Therefore, going at least four times pays for the parking itself.

The best time to go
We live about 10 minutes away from the water park so we have been able to go a few times a week since we bought the passes in the middle/end of June. I would have to say the best time to go is the first month from the day it opens it is not too hot yet and there is hardly any lines. in my opinion the new aqua rocket ride is the best ride there, my boyfriends favorite ride/slide is the Bermuda triangle and my daughters like almost all of them. my almost 2 year old loves all the kiddie attractions. another thing that's cool is a local radio station dj's every Friday, plays games and gives out prizes to the winners.

Food
Since the food is costly just like all other park attractions and I'm on a budget, i only take a couple oranges and apples for the kids to snack on. your not allowed to take food in but you can take an ice chest of food and pay a fee to check it into the picnic area. i have never used the picnic area because we only go for a few hours or less so we just eat when we get home! i have also seen a lot of other groups that leave there food in the car and when they get hungry they go have a little picnic by their cars. they actually bring out a fold out table and some chairs, and they all sit and have a little feast. lately the water park has been so packed that all the rides have super long lines and one of my daughters has special needs and she is very impatient so we wont go on those rides we just take my little one to the kiddie area and we all just enjoy watching him have fun.

The importance of shoes
Today we went to the water park it was kind of funny watching the people who don't wear sandals or wet shoes because they run from one ride to the next trying to find a shady spot to stand on because the floor is flipping hot. so if you ever go to raging waters make sure you buy some $2.00 flip flops because your feet will definitely benefit from it.

What to bring
All we ever take with us is a small diaper bag with an extra swim diaper, a regular diaper, wipes, sunscreen, my car keys, an apple and orange, and my cell phone. we also take 2 towels, our season passes of course, and we are already wearing our swim suits and our sandals and that's about it. we have never rented a locker i just hang the diaper bag on one of the post and leave our sandals outside the rides we go on. sometimes people take so much stuff in with them that is unnecessary but i guess that's their first time there or they just like taking loads of stuff with them.
Hope you enjoyed
Well this is how me and my little family enjoy the water park, Raging Waters. I will definitely buy season passes next year. Its something to do that we all enjoy and it gets us out of the house especially when its really hot and on those energy saving days!
