SummerSlam 2019

Michael Cole, Corey Graves, and Renee Young welcome us all to the show and break down each of their key matches they're most looking forward to. (Time = .30)

Match 1: A.J Styles (c) vs. Ricochet for the United States Title

Styles enters first alongside Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. Ricochet then enters on the stage then points towards the entrance curtain. The Usos music hits. The three men walk down the ramp together.

After nearly 7 minutes of both men one-upping each other, The OG members make multiple attempts to distract Ricochet. Usos confront The OG each time. Ricochet knocks down Styles with an Enzuigiri then immediately jumps to the top turnbuckle and takes out Gallows and Anderson with a cross-body. As he enters back into the ring, Styles hits HIM with an Enzuigiri, springboards off the top rope towards the outside, and hits the Phenomenal Forearm on Jey Uso. Then kicks Jimmy Uso in the gut and throws him into the steel steps. As soon as he enters back into the ring, Ricochet is there waiting and he hits a standing Spanish Fly on Styles. He then quickly drags Styles in position for the 630. He hits the move and pins Styles for the 1-2-3. New United States Champion is Ricochet. (Time = 12:05)

BACKSTAGE: Trish Stratus is seen getting ready for her final match against Charlotte Flair later on in the show. (Time = .25)

MATCH 2: Bayley (c) vs. Ember Moon for the SmackDown Live Women's Title

Ember Moon enters first followed by Bayley. A back-and-forth battle is happening until Ember visibly is getting upset that she can't keep Bayley down. As she yells at the referee to count the 3 on a pin attempt, Bayley sneaks up behind her, swings her around, and hits the Bayley-To-Belly for the 1-2-3. Bayley retains the SDLive Women's Title.

As Bayley is celebrating on the turnbuckle, the camera cuts to Ember Moon, who is seething. Bayley comes down, turns around, and is attacked viciously by Ember. Ember goes to the outside and grabs a steel chair from ringside. She continues the attack on Bayley with multiple chair shots. She then leaves the ring with a grin on her face as referees rush in to help the champion. Ember sees that Bayley is getting up on her feet near the turnbuckle and runs back down the ramp. She climbs to the top rope and hits the Eclipse on Bayley as the referees scatter out of the way. She then grabs the SmackDown Women's Title and raises it above her head. (Time = 14:25)

Camera cuts to Cole, Graves, and Young as they all are shocked by the antics of Ember and react with their thoughts. Then Cole starts talking about Bray Wyatt and a video package is played of all the attacks Wyatt has done over the last few weeks. (Time = 2:19)

MATCH 3: Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

Balor enters the ring and awaits the arrival of Bray. The lights start to flicker and Bray's evil laugh starts to play over and over again. The arena then goes dark, the laughing stops. After a few seconds of complete silence, the titan tron shows The Firefly Funhouse logo and the theme song plays as Wyatt is then seen on the screen singing along to the song. The music stops as Wyatt's smile turns to a cold, sinful look. The video is cut as it becomes all black in the arena. Bray's laugh is played again. The lights come back on and The Fiend is seen standing behind Balor. Balor turns around and the referee rings the bell. After just a couple of minutes, Wyatt cinches in the Mandible Claw on Balor and wins the match in dominant fashion.

Wyatt stops and stares into the camera until the arena goes black again and we then hear his laugh one more time. Camera cuts to a WWE Network commercial. (Time = 10:52)

Phillips, Graves, and Saxton react to Bray Wyatt in shock and move on to the next match. Phillips introduces the video package of the Kevin Owens/Shane McMahon rivalry. (Time = 2:44)

MATCH 4: Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon

The guitar string of Elias is heard and he emerges. He sings a song about Kevin Owens until introducing Shane McMahon. They walk down the ramp and get into the ring. Shane climbs to the top turnbuckle and motions to Greg Hamilton to do the usual Best in the World intro. Owens' music hits and interrupts Hamilton midway. Owens jogs to the ring and goes right after McMahon. Shane eventually gets the upper hand after a distraction from Elias and urges Greg Hamilton to announce that the match is now a No Disqualification Match. Shane and Elias start to double-team Owens on the outside until they place him on top of the Spanish announce table. Shane climbs the top rope and attempts an elbow drop onto Owens. Owens moves out of the way as Shane crumbles into the desk. Owens and Elias battle until Owens stuns Elias. He then grabs Shane and throws him back into the ring, pumps up the crowd, and waits until Shane is standing. Owens then hits Shane with The Stunner. He then hits him with another Stunner. He delivers one more Stunner and covers Shane for the 1-2-3. (Time = 22:23)

Camera cuts to the inside where Truth and Carmella are seen surrounded by many female superstars. They all tackle Truth down as a big pile is made. Truth somehow slips out and walks out backwards while watching the women continue to fight one another. He all of a sudden falls to the floor as Billie Kay is then seen on all fours while Peyton Royce pins Truth to win the 24/7 Title. The IIconics run down the hallway screaming in celebration. The camera cuts back to Truth, still on the ground in shock. Carmella comes and asks Truth what happened. Truth replies, “I don’t know. Some Australian women stole my baby and then kept screamin’ like they were cat and a dolphin makin’ love.” (Time = 5:19)

Camera cuts to Cole, Graves, and Young who laugh and hype up the next match. Video package of Becky Lynch and Natalya is shown. (Time = 2:32)

Samoa Joe walks in and asks if Roman’s okay. He reminds Roman that he doesn’t like him, but he wouldn’t come after him like the coward that the mystery man is. Joe then tells him he has Roman’s back and walks away. As Roman walks away in the other direction, the camera watches him. After he walks passed a doorway, Rowan and Daniel Bryan walk out and stare at Roman while he walks on. (Time = 5:27)

The bell sounds and Ziggler crawls under the bottom rope to the floor, taunting Goldberg. He continues that for several minutes until he gets distracted by a fan on the outside near the time-keeper's area. That "fan" turns out to be The Miz. Goldberg then climbs out of the ring and spears Ziggler through the barricade. After a couple of minutes, he throws Ziggler back into the ring and spears Dolph again. He then hits the Jackhammer for the 1-2-3. (Time = 15:14)

Orton gets the upper hand and throws Kofi into the commentary table. He then puts Kofi on top of it and climbs up. He hits the RKO as they both crash through the table. Orton eventually throws Kofi back into the ring for a close 2-count. He gets frustrated and calls Kofi “stupid” over and over again. He walks back into the corner and gears up for a punt. Kofi moves out of the way, gets up, and hits Orton with the Trouble in Paradise for the 1-2-3. (Time = 25:50)

BACKSTAGE: The IIconics are seen walking towards the parking lot while still celebrating with the 24/7 Title. Drake Maverick stops them alongside his wife Renee and a referee. He jumps through the ropes and hits the rolling X-Factor to set up for the 450 Splash. Andrade knocks Ali off the top rope and onto the floor.
