Sfc Exclusive Interview: Salvatore Cash-Money

Updated on February 16, 2020

The Middleweight division has been on lock for the most part since the SFC began. The 7-0 champion, Tony Hall has been unstoppable. At SFC 3, he defends his belt in a rematch against the 5-2 Salvatore Cash-Money.

Cash-Money is a beast in his own right, and isn't backing down from the submission specialist. We are interviewing him about his upcoming match, Team LCA and more!

Q1: Let's start off by saying you have looked very impressive since your debut. So much so that I've nicknamed you the "knockout artist" of the Middleweight Division. How are you so consistent when it comes to finishing your opponents?

"I study my opponents moves from their prior matches and try to see what makes them tick. My jabs are vicious and methodical so when I connect you feel it. When I get you shook it’s over."

Q2: We just saw Thomas Noble suffer a submission loss to champion Tony Hall at SFC 2, and he had to beat you to get that opportunity. What are your thoughts on "Bonecrusher"?

"Noble is a beast. He’s super hard to make contact with because he’s extremely agile. I’m surprised he ended up losing to be honest. That shows the skills that Hall possesses."

Q3: Speaking of the Middleweight champion, you have an upcoming rematch with the 7-0 fighter at SFC 3. What's your mindset heading in to this match?

"I’m focused. With him having 7 wins and zero losses it’s safe to say he’s looked at as the best in the world right now. I plan on changing that. It’s been a while since we’ve faced off and I can say that he’s not ready for what i have for him next week.:

Q4: You called out Hall and threatened to submit him. It's safe to assume you've been working on your submission skills?

"It’s safe to say that I’m coming for that title."

Q5: Hall represents the Apex Predators while you're apart of Team LCA. Why is this rivalry so intense?

"One group is a family, which was the first Gym opened up in the SFC. The other group decided they wanted to follow suit and open up a gym however they allow every average joe that walks into the octagon to become an “Apex” Member. They believe in quantity over quality and it shows by how much they run their mouth without backing it up."

Q6: Team LCA makes it known they aren't a team, they're a brotherhood. Why do these guys mean so much to you?

"We all came up through Bellator together and because of that we formed a family bond traveling the road together. We dominated in our different weight classes so it only made sense to jump over to the newly founded SFC and because of that we founded LCA gym."

"You’re looking at the new MW Champion."

Thanks for your time, Salvatore. Good luck in your title match.

"Thanks brother."
