Sehwag Unlikely to Play next match against Australia
Virendra Sehwag might not be playing the next match against Australia in Brisbane on February 19th 2012, because of his back injury. Sehwag has started showing signs of back injury again because of which he has been out of team for a while in may 2011. It is worth noticing that it was Gambhir's turn out of the new rotation policy to rest and Sehwag and Tendulkar open the batting for India. But because of the injury, Sehwag is likely to miss the next game and in-form Gambhir will open the innings with Sachin Tendulkar.
Gambhir scored a wonderful 91 in the last match against Sri Lanka and missed his century by only 9 runs as he was dismissed run-out.
Meanwhile the whole nation will be looking for Sachin to bat for a while and forget about his century of centuries and play a normal cricket. And if he stays on the crease for a while then there is also a chance for him to score a century.
We hope that Sachin tendulkar scores a century tomorrow!!
Sehwag has scored 8055 runs in 242 One-Day International matches with an average of 35.48 and an amazing strike rate of 104.62. His highest score in One Day match being 219 which is the highest run score made by any batsmen in an International match. He is the Second batsman to score a double century in an ODI. Sehwag has gone not-out on 9 occasions of 236 innings he has batted!
