SummerSlam 2015 Predictions.

Updated on August 17, 2015

The Prime Time Players vs. Los Matadores vs. The New Day vs. Lucha Dragons.

Winner- The Prime Time Players.

Obviously things aren't great if Los Matadores are involved in the championship picture.
Don't get me wrong, all of these teams are entertaining in their own way, but... Let's talk about legitimate champions.

Los Matadores?
They aren't even allowed to win clean on Raw, let alone win the tag titles.

The Lucha Dragons?
Rumor has it that they've fallen out of favor with the brass backstage, and even though they're extremely exciting, neither have microphone ability and I can't see them winning the championship.

The New Day?
I actually really enjoy the New Day.
Their heel act is really getting over with the fans, and I think this is most momentum that any of these guys have ever had.
However... They are heels, and with The PTP being faces...
It really doesn't make sense to put the titles on them.
Why create a dragon when you don't have a knight?

No. I think for the time being, the PTP manage to hold on.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev.

Winner- Rusev.

In magical-fairy-super-land, Ziggler should be strutting away from this match the winner.
However...
Rusev needs the win more than Ziggler.
See, sadly, I think Ziggler's popularity works against him.
Ziggler will be over with the fans no matter what happens.
He could get pinned by El Torito, and his shirts would still sell like hot cakes.
But Rusev?
Rusev is pretty much stuck being a Heel forever, and he hasn't looked tough since Cena dropped the "Five Knuckle Shovel" on him at Wrestlemania.
Rusev needs a legitimate win to get back on track and restore the legitimacy of his "monster" heel persona, and he's not gonna get it by putting Lana in the accolade.
Sadly, I think Rusev comes away the winner.

Team B.A.D. vs. Team Bella vs. Team PCB.

Winner- Team PCB.

It's gonna be a rough weekend for Sasha Banks.
She's gonna drop the NXT Title to Bayley on Saturday, and then she's gonna lose to PCB on Sunday.

It's elimination, and I think they mean it's individual elimination, so it'll probably come down to Charlotte, Nikki, and Sasha.

Two things are obvious here.
1- Vince is a spiteful douche and he's gonna let Nikki hold the title long enough to bury AJ's record.
2- Charlotte is the future of the Diva's division.

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton.

Winner- Not the fans.

These two are incapable of putting on a good match.
It needs to stop.
These two don't need to feud ever again.
I'd rather see Cena/Orton, at least then, they can put on a "meh" match.

Ugh.
I think Orton wins.
Sheamus, like Rollins before him, has the benefit of being Mr. Money in the Bank, and being almost unburiable.

The only way Sheamus can lose momentum is if he fails to cash in...

Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens.

Winner- Kevin Owens.

This match is gonna be fun.
Ring of Honor fans will be wetting their pants as these two indy icons go at it in a match that might steal the whole damn show.
Cesaro, like Ziggler, is so over with the fans, that they're used to seeing him lose.
He's lost enough matches that nobody is really expecting him to win.
Owens however... Is desperately in need of a win.
It'll probably be sketchy as all hell, but he gets the pin and the win.

Stephen Amell and Neville vs. King Barrett and Stardust.

Winner- Ameville.

King Jobber and Cody Dust vs. a young, exciting star and the celebrity guest?
C'mon, it's obvious that Amell and Neville get the win.

Ryback vs. The Big Show vs. The Miz.

Winner- Ryback.

Ryback hasn't really gotten a chance to be IC champion, and with the title being so irrelevant, it needs to be carried proudly and loudly for a while.
Now, while The Miz is both proud and loud, he's not what anyone wants in any title picture.
And the Big Show?
Please.

Ryback wins easily.

Seth Rollins vs. John Cena.

Winner- John Cena.

It could go either way.
But please, for the love of God, don't put both belts on John Cena.
That just doesn't make sense.
Please.
For the love of God.
I'll admit, I cheat.
I exploit the free month hack.
I will actually start paying for the damn network if Rollins goes over.

And I think Sheamus cashes in.
The IC title is a joke, there is no World Heavyweight Championship.
Are you really going to give both titles to one guy?

The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar.

Winner- Brock Lesnar.

Brock Lesnar ended the streak at Wrestlemania 30.
Brock Lesnar destroyed John Cena.
Brock Lesnar beat John Cena and Seth Rollins.
Brock Lesnar hasn't been pinned in years.
Brock Lesnar is unbeatable, unpinnable, indestructible.

Whoever pins Brock is set to get the push of a lifetime.
Are you gonna give that to a fifty year old man?
Roman Reigns couldn't do it.
John Cena couldn't do it.
Seth Rollins couldn't do it.
But grandpa does?

Nuh-uh.
Brock gets the win or Sting interferes.
