Bodybuilding Supplements That Build Muscle Fast

There are lots of bodybuilding supplements out there that can help you improve muscle definition. Some of the supplements cater to the bulking phase and others cater to the cutting phase. Regardless of whether your bulking or cutting, its important to incorporate 3 vital supplements that are essential to building muscle.

  • Protein Powder with BCAA's
  • Creatine
  • Nitric Oxide (NO)

BCAA's are essential to building muscle because they are the building blocks that make muscle building proteins. Its also a good Idea to use creatine if you are looking to really increase muscle mass fast. Creatine helps your muscles grow by keeping them well hydrated. Some nitric oxide supplements contain creatine in them which can make things much more convenient. I definitely recommend using a supplement that contains both Nitric Oxide and Creatine.

There are lots of good protein powders out there. Some of my favorites are 100% Whey Protein, NitroTech and N-Large 2. 100% Whey Protein and NitroTech are great for low calorie diets when you are trying to lose weight or tone your muscles. I used N-Large 2 when I was in the bulking phase because it is known to be a great weight gainer that tastes good. N-Large 2 has about 50 grams of protein per serving and about 800 calories depending on what type of milk you mix it with.

Nitric Oxide Supplements With Creatine

Its also really important that you use a pre-workout supplement that uses Nitric Oxide. Nitric Oxide exists in our body naturally already, but supplementing with nitric oxide can increase stamina in the gym and can really amplify the pump and strength that you have in your workout. Nitric Oxide really helps to increase blood circulation and as a result it really is great for increasing your endurance in the gym. A good nitric oxide supplement can really amplify your workout intensity and once you start using it, you probably won't want to work out without it. One of my favorite supplements to use before a workout is NaNO Vapor - it is probably one of the best pre workout supplements you can get. It contains both nitric oxide and creatine and when you drink it before a workout you will notice a significant increase in strength and pump. NaNO Vapor is made by MuscleTech and is by far one of the best supplements for increasing muscle mass.

If you are looking to use a nitric oxide supplement that does not have creatine, BSN makes a great nitric oxide called NITRIX that comes in pill form.

      Most modern creatine formulas don't require a loading period anymore.It was the case for old creatine monohydrate, now you have creatine ethyl ester, tricreatine malate, creatine gluconate, buffered creatine, krealkalyn etc. you can check my hub on supplements an especially good creatine formulas that I have personally tried and can recommend

      Thank you for your comment Lance, I know NaNO has become a very popular supplement as a pre-workout drink and I think a lot of the supplements that muscletech makes are high quality as well. I've always been a fan of the nitrotech protein powder as well.

      I have heard about cycling and especially loading with creatine if you want to experience results within 7 days. I also prefer NaNO Vapor as the best pre-workout supplement. The pump is unlike any other Nitric Oxide Supplement and it really helps me increase my endurance in the gym.

      When you take creatine, its best to start cycling with it. Take 5 grams per day when you are in your loading phase. Some people take 5 grams twice a day during the loading phase, but I dont find it to be necessary. Supplements like NaNO Vapor and NO Xplod already contain creatine so you don't need to worry about any additional creatine supplements.
