This Manchester is Ironical.

Updated on March 19, 2016

THIS MANCHESTER!!

3 Weeks Before.

It can be really hard for a Manchester united fan out there to stomach these facts about a team that recently looked promising. At one time the famous English club was flying high, then there came a run of fixtures which many soccer pundits claimed it would determine if Manchester united would play European soccer the following season. Tough fixtures against Tottenham, Liverpool, Aston Villa Manchester city, Chelsea and finally Everton could possibly decide the clubs fate in as far as European football is concerned. We started really well and shocked many due to the impressive results against Tottenham, Liverpool an arc rivals Manchester City.

I need your opinion.

Which was the best performance for man united in the four games against tottenham, Liverpool Villa and man city?

See results

How it happened.

I remember the tottenham game when man united won by 3 goals to nil. A 3 nil win for mancester united was the least expectation even from the very own fans given the recent form of tottenham. After this many could not just belive it and kept saying "wait for the trip to Liverpool. Well the liverpool fixture came through and manchester surprised many by beating them in front of the home crowd at Anfield.

Strings of wins against Aston villa and man city proved that man united were ready to wedge a tittle challenge against leaders Chelsea and potential arsenal. Only did people not know the kind of U-turn was ahead in terms of the teams performance.

They went to Chelsea and lost by a goal but "played best." Everton followed and if you asked I simply used this expression "i just can't believe, 3 goals?" Then there was last weekends shocking loss to Westbrom which makes matters worse for the Van Gaal's men. Enough said.

The IRONY

How do you win 6 games in a row and among them 3 wins against English's precision in the form of Manchester city, Liverpool and Tottenham then come to not only loose but loose with no goals in 3 games? Apparently they lie fourth in the premier league table 4 points above Liverpool. They look certain of Champions league football next season given only 3 games are remaining to end the season. I hope they just stop being ironical and give their fans what they really are supposed to give.

I will be shocked if they lost any of the remaining fixtures with the kind of squad they have. Literally the squad Vs their performance is just another addition to the bunch of ironies around old Trafford. These guys are just bringing in result we least expect. They buy Di Maria, he simply disappoints, they play City we never see them winning, they surprise and then Westbrom of all teams come to beat them at home aghrrrr...

Meditation point, can they really challenge for the tittle next season? Lets leave it here.
