Buy a BJJ blue belt online here
Buy a belt, you say?
No, this isn't a "buy a belt" scam! Ha! This is where you can find a great BJJ belt from the most reputable manufacturer of BJJ gis in the world, Fuji, and the most reputable online retailer in the world, Amazon.
We've been using Fuji belts (and gis) at my gym (Revolution BJJ in Richmond, VA, in case you're curious) for nearly 10 years now, so I think I'm qualified to speak as to the quality of the products Fuji offers. I'm also a BJJ and judo black belt, so I understand what you're looking for in a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blue, purple, brown, or black belt. We have all of these at our gym, and Fuji makes a great quality belt, and an amazing one for the price.
Some martial arts belts will fray after a few months (or, god forbid, sometimes even sooner), and won't hold up in the washing machine (yes, you really should be washing your belt; no, your mojo will not go away, but the staph, ringworm, and MRSA will, and so will that funk) or dryer. These will.
I also like the color scheme- Fuji has actually paid attention to what gym owners want, it seems. The blue belt is kind of a "baby" blue color, which might seem kind of funny, but it's actually great, because it's super easy to tell the difference between the BJJ purple belt- a rich, deep, darker purple belt. The brown belt is a bold, ochre and sienna blend (I majored in painting in art school once upon a time, so sue me), and the black belt comes with a nice red bar, suitable for your first and second degree promotions.
The white, blue, purple, and brown belts come with black bars for stripes (and for general aesthetics, honestly, signifying them specifically as BJJ belts).
