Flexible Flyer Sled

Updated on September 17, 2014

Flexible Flyer Snow Sled

When I was a kid we had an old wooden sled that we used year after year. It was totally fun. Sled riding is the perfect wintertime sports. The thing I like most about sled riding is that the entire family can have fun.

The most popular and most trusted brand of wooded sleds is a Flexible Flyer Sled. These wooden sled come in a variety of sizes ranging between 52 inches and 60 inches.

The most popular Flexible Flyer Sled with 9 five star reviews at Amazon.com is the Mountain Boy Sledworks Ultimate Flyer 52-inch sled. This sled is almost to pretty to ride. But of course you need to ride it because it is sturdy. It can stand up to many spills without being damaged. Flexible Flyers Sleds are also well known for being really fast. If you are looking for a unique Christmas gift for a child, a wooden snow sled would be very much appreciated.

Wendy, thank you for this interesting Hub. I had one of these Flexible Flyers when I was a kid. Brought back quite a few memories. God Bless!

I don't have a wooden sled when I was a child, but, here in the Philippines, we're always imaginative. The old stalk, the large part of coconut leaves inspired us to do like wooden sled. And we enjoyed playing it.
