WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BASEBALL PLAYERS SPIRIT FOR THE GAME?

Two problems: steroids and money. Baseball players enhance themselves by taking steroids to get more money. It is no longer for the love of the game, just like every other pro-sport. Every pro-sport has gone to pot lately. If you're getting more than 100,000,000 bucks a year and still not satisfied with your salary, you couldn't care less about the game which makes it less fun to watch.

I agree with dana825. When one player takes steroids, he gets ahead of the competition which forces other players to do the same thing to keep up. The players need to keep the integrity and genuineness of the game by following the rules and playing without illegal enhancers. I wrote a hub on this called Steroids In Baseball if you want to check it out.
