Are you going to an Orlando theme park on the 4th of July?

Travel experts agree that one of the worst days in Orlando theme parks crowdwise is the Fourth of July. The kids are out of school, many folks head from other states, and South American tour groups (aka turismos) roam the parks with their chanting and carrying on in the summer - but this national holiday makes them increase! I experienced it once as a kid and never went on that day again - it's too much for me as an autistic. The fireworks are worth it, though.

Would you chance doing the theme parks in Central Florida on July 4? Explain why and include your experiences.

I would not for many of the reasons that you outlined with maybe one exception.

When my kids are a little older (oldest is 6 youngest is 9 months) I might do it so that I could experience it once with them.

Other than that, the only way I would do it is to stay at a resort that faces the parks and on a high enough floor to see them from my room

Yeah, theme parks are really busy during the summer. Plus it is really, really hot there. I would try to go in the Fall or Spring.

I prefer parks when they are not too crowded... smile
