Is the Lakers team headed to NBA championship again after Howard is traded to them?
What do you think are the chances that the Lakers are going to the NBA championship again now that Howard is going to LA?
not really. i think dwight howard is actually one of the most overrated players in the league. kobe and nash are good, and i'm shocked they were able to keep gasol, but howard really isn't that much better than bynum. he's a one trick pony on offense.
Out on West? Yes! Unless an injury occurs...Sorry OKC! Miami Heat favorite on East...Champion? Kobe vs LeBron...Bosh vs Howard & Dwade vs hahaha Nash?!? Heat will Repeat!
Andrew Bynum seems to have more offensive skill than Howard, but Howard is the better defender. Bynum has never been a defensive player of the year like Howard has. Both Miami and the Lakers have gotten better and OKC have not gotten better in this off season.
The Lakers have done a better job of making up for their shortcomings. The Lakers needed a better point guard, better defense, and a better bench. They were able to address all of those things during this summer.
The Heat needed better big guys, but they weren't able to pick up any yet so far. The Heat have gotten better with Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, but these two guys don't really address the Heat's problem with defending the paint. We'll have to see what happens in the future as more trades can still go through.

Espn analyst says that Andrew Bynum is the main Laker asset. Unlikely to get both of them, but I'd be happy with either one.

I'm not sure giving away Odom was the right thing to do, but it seems like it's a play to open up some money to bring in the next major star to replace Kobe Bryant as he nears retirement. Don't get me wrong, Kobe has a few more good years in him. Does Dwight Howard make the Lakers a...

They just traded away Lamar Odom as step to make room for Dwight Howard. Odom makes 8.9 mil. Walton makes around 7-ish?. Their style of mgmt is one of disloyalty. It is ALL BUSSiness with the Lakers (Fakers). In the 90's, they traded away Divac to get a top pick in Kobe, they traded Eddie...
