How to find right Martial Art school for you?
Does a flashy place with showers, a clean smell and a tidy appearance prove that this is a good school? Or is it a place that has Asian Instructors? Or has a lot black belts in class? Let me know your thoughts.
I ask around and compare different opinions. The experience of people whom I trust is the most important to me to make the first step: narrow the selection. If I have a chance I try the finalists and make the final decision.

The biggest sign about the quality of a gym is the students. Who are they? How long have they been there? How have they changed for the better since becoming a member?
Ideally, the culture should be exemplify the values that you want to create and reinforce in yourself. So evaluating the students can tell you if the environment will help you achieve what you desire.

Does anyone know how to find instructors of the martial art Tang Soo Do?We lived in an area in Arizona with a wonderful instructor but have not been able to find any one else and we have moved from the area.
