Big surprise here. According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, "Jenn Sterger will not agree to go on record with the NFL so long as Brett Favre satisfies her demands in a financial settlement."
Very predictable. Although, I still feel sorry for Favre's wife far more than anyone else. Favre's actions here are downright disgusting only in the sense that he did this while being a married man to his wife who was going through a bout with cancer. But on the other hand, this Jenn Sterger is quite the character herself. I think she told a friend to reveal this story to the Deadspin staff conveniently the same week the Vikings and Favre were about to play the Jets two years after Favre even played for the Jets. That in itself obviously wreaks of a cash grab for her to draw attention to herself at just the right time for one of the most anticipated Monday Night Football games ever on ESPN. She was only interested in promoting herself and her modeling career. This latest development proves that her motivation behind this fiasco is the money. What a joke.
Typo on my part for the quote in the first sentence. She is willing to agree "not" to go on record with the NFL provided that Favre will meet her monetary demands. My bad.
I feel sorry for Favre last night, he seems disheveled bec of that ankle and they should have won already except for that TD which were overturned...
There is no doubt in my mind that this should not be convered on ESPN, or anywhere. This is personal business that should be between Favre and his wife.
Don't get me wrong I'm not advocating it, but cheating happens on a regular basis. I see people do it nearly every day. So why do we have to see Favre? Hundreds/thousands of celebs have cheated or still are. And millions of people have, so this being news is mind-boggling.
It is Favre's fault, because he certainly does love the media attention. He does it purposely every year and now its backfiring.
shes already said it didnt happend, but that was before she got a lawyer hmmmmm

I heard on NFL Network and ESPN that Brett Favre will Not play in tonight's Minnesota Vikings game against the NY Giants.A record 297 consecutive starts ends! It is good that the team did not just put Favre out there for a play or two just to get the "stat." That would have...

Brett Favre is still in talks and trying to decide if he will play the Minnesota Vikings. I say it is time to go! Brett has become a distraction. He is a legend and WILL be in the Hall of Fame. Don't stay too long and ruin your name. What is your take on this?

As a Green Bay Packers fan, I have seen Brett Favre play for many years and this Sunday he looked terrible. His throws were almost all off target, he is incredibly immobile and he looks genuinely tired on the sidelines. I am pretty sure his injuries are effecting more than he lets on.Combine that...

Forty-year old Brett Favre just defeated his old team, the Green Bay Packers 30-23. The win makes him the first player in NFL history to defeat ALL 32 NFL teams. He may be old, but has shown thus far that he's still GOT IT. Him and the Minnesota Vikings are now 4-0 this season,...
