The Royals are also a great story because they play an unusual, exciting, nostalgia-tinged brand of baseball. With the fewest home runs of any team in the majors, they are the epitome of “small ball,” winning with speed, pitching, timely hitting, and ridiculously good defense. Manufacturing runs from what feels like thin air, their style hearkens to a better kind of baseball, before steroids warped the game, erasing so much of its subtlety.

The Baseball Cap

"The baseball cap is a part of the traditional baseball uniform worn by players, with the brim pointing forward to shield the eyes from the sun."

But the cap is not limited to the field. It is often seen in everyday casual wear by men, women and kids.

I'm a HUGE baseball fan, so like all team. My favorite is the St. Louis Cardinals (as I lived in Missouri for 12+ years), but I keep track of the Royals too as my son lives in KC. Have been to Kauffman Stadium a couple times, including for the Opening Game of the I-70 World Series between the Royals and the Cardinals (that KC Royals won!) :-)
