Skateboarding is popular among teen boys. There are many deck designs to choose from. As you choose one keep in mind his favorite color, characters, music and whatever he is into. It helps to know those things when choosing a perfect skateboard for your teen boy.

I know teen boys can be hard to shop for I raised two of them. It was always mind boggling to figure out what to get that they would like. I was always one to get something useful but fun. One of my boys liked the skateboard scene which is popular among teens who love that kind exercise and thrill. His favorite color is color so that's what I went with for him.

Then check with your local shop in town. We have a skate park in town which is super nice for teens and anyone into skateboarding. I think they are safer than just on the street.
