10 Perfect Products to Keep in Your Purse

Updated on October 14, 2011

You're rocking your new outfit with just the right shoes. Your hair is gorgeous and you're ready for a night on the town. Yet, before you can go anywhere, it's time to pick up your BFF...your purse! Although people think you carry it because it's "pretty", you know the truth. All the items essential to life are contained within that stylish clutch. Don't worry, I'm on your side. That's why I created this list...

Here are some helpful products that definitely deserve space in your purse:

Maglite Solitaire

Never get left in the dark with a Mini Maglite in your purse! As one of the world's best flashlights, you can rely on your Maglite to shed light on any shady situation. Plus, it's small enough to fit on your key chain!

Pop Up Towels

There's nothing worse than being stuck in a sticky situation with no hope of cleaning up. Pop Up Towels are tiny cloth coins that turn into sturdy wipes when you add water. The convenient plastic travel tube fits into any purse and ensures that you'll be ready for any spill, stain, or sweat session.

Keep your lips kissable with Softlips lip protectant. Softlips has a 20 SPF and prevents dry, cracked lips with its gentle lip balm formula. Sweet regular flavors (i.e., strawberry, vanilla) and delicious seasonal flavors (i.e., sugar cookie, coconut cream) will make your luscious lips love you!!

One Drop

It's everyone's worst nightmare- you're in an unfamiliar bathroom and it's time for a number two. Instead of trying to kill the tell-tale smell with a water-wasting courtesy flush, keep your bathroom visit fresh with One Drop...the secret to bathroom confidence ;)

Happy Booster

Physician's Formula makes a blushing powder that actually helps boost your mood. This blendable blush contains euphoryl (which mimics the effect of endorphins) to evoke happy feelings when you apply. The pretty pearl hearts are also violet-scented to enhance your bliss!

Tic-Tacs are absolutely fantastic because... 1) They come in scrumptious flavors like cherry passion, 2) The little box of mints makes such a delightful noise when you shake it, 3) They're guilt-free at only 1 1/2 calories per mint, 4) They look like candy, thus, offering them to people with bad breath is unoffensive, and 5) They won't leave a yucky mess in your purse. Score!!

Purse Hook

You take pride in your purse, so why let it sit on a dirty floor? Hang your purse in style with a fashionable purse hook. You can find them in all shapes and sizes to match every handbag in your collection!

Hand Sanitizer

Bath and Body Works makes the perfect pocket-sized bottles of hand sanitizer. With magnificent scents, such as Japanese cherry blossom, and holiday fragrances (i.e, candy corn), fighting germs has never smelled so good!!

Pain Reliever

Headaches can hit at the worst possible time, so be prepared with a travel pack of pain reliever. Having a few caplets handy will help alleviate the pressure once that awful feeling starts to bring you down.

Swiss Army Knife

Perhaps the most versatile mini-tool ever made, the Swiss Army knife can be a lifesaver. More than just a knife, this dandy little tool includes other items (i.e., scissors, tweezers) that can keep you sharp and savvy on-the-go.

Hi Moonlake! Thanks for commenting & voting ;)

I know what you mean about overwhelming purses, as I've tried to downsize too. Yet, even though I carry a smaller purse, my husband still expects me to carry around his crap too. Come on, guys...just break down and start carrying your OWN purse already, LOL!!

I love all the things for a purse I do carry most of them in my big purse but if I'm going to be walking around I carry a small purse with me something that is easy on my shoulders. Big purses and to much stuff are getting to heavy for me. Voted uP!

Hi TattooKitty! Rats! ... I can't get most of this clobber in the UK. Never mind, my handbag is huge (we don't call them 'purses' over here ... a purse is just for cash) and it is full of rubbish ... it's no-where near as useful as the stuff you carry.

Well done for being nominated and winning ... how cool is that!

      Welcome to HP.

Gypsy Willow- I hate leaving my purse on the floor too! It just seems like a sin, lol!

Austinstar- LOL!! Yes, cash is quite important too. Yet, after buying all the crap to put in my purse, I might not have any left!!

debbie roberts- Purse cleaning really is a chore! I don't know how the heck I end up with so much unwanted receipts. I always say I'm going to enter the contests and complete the surveys offered on those receipts, but I never do!!
