Provon is a great facial cleanser
I was lucky as a teenager in that I didn't have much acne. The same cannot be said for my adult years - especially since menopause. My face consistently had one or two cystic type pimples I could never get rid of. Drove me crazy!
Then my daughter got her ear pierced and the woman who did the piercing recommended and sold us a small one ounce bottle of cleanser for her new piercing. She added as a side note it is a great facial cleanser and helped to keep her skin clear of acne.
HMMM - Well I tried it and was very satisfied. My face cleared within a week and I rarely if ever have problems with acne now. My daughter also has occassional mild acne so she uses it with the same great results.
Most products to treat acne are very harsh. We both tend to have sensitive skin and since provon is perfume free and alcohol free we haven't had any resulting irritation.
What is provon? It is a medicated soap used in hospitals, physician offices and in the tattoo and piercing industry.
If you have persistant mild to moderate acne this is a product that would be well worth trying. As I said before it is very gentle and economical.
I cannot say how well it would work on persons with moderate to severe acne as we don't suffer from it but it may be worth trying for some possible excellent results!
