      Hello theastrology,

The name probably derives from the island of Zeberget, in the Red Sea, where in Roman times there were numerous mines of topaz.

According to other researchers, however, the name is derived from the Sanskrit tapas, meaning "strength, fire," and in fact the topaz is particularly prevalent in India and Pakistan.

Thanks to the technique of irradiation, are produced, since the 80s, even the blue topaz, which, however, can easily be confused with the most precious aquamarine.

Manufacturers of this type of topaz are Brazil, China and Nigeria, where exactly they extract colorless topaz, the raw materials for this working.

      Beautiful article, voted UP!

Hi! I love your topics. I am getting rid of clutter, including useless trinkets for show. I want to replace them with gemstones. I want to put gemstones in that work with the purpose of the room. So the kitchen might need one type where the parlor may need another. I would love to see more hubs like this so I can figure out what gemstone belongs in what room.
