Braun has been known to produce high quality shaving products over the years and the Braun Series 9 family is no exception. There are five distinct models of the Braun Series shavers:

Braun Series 9 9095cc Key Features

The 9095cc, like all other shaver models in the Braun Series 9, has a four action cutting system. This ensures that the shaver is able to effectively deal with all hairs on the face.

In addition to this, the 9095cc is well equipped to easily follow the contours of the face through the pivoting shaving head and four independently floating shaving elements. This features ensure that difficult to reach areas such as the upper lip, chin and neck are easily tackled.

Through the use of the Optifoil technology, the Braun Series 9 9095cc ensures that the hairs on the face are thoroughly cut without any discomfort to the skin. These foils protect the skin from the rough actions of the cutting heads but are still able to cut the hairs very closely.

Hairs that grow in a different direction or that is flat on the skin can present a problem during shaving. It is this problem that the 9095cc solves effectively through the HyperLift&Cut as well as the Direct&Cut Trimmers that are incorporated in the shaver.

Many people like switching between wet shaving and dry shaving and normally invest in two different shavers for the purpose. The Braun Series 9 9095cc is both a dry as well as a wet shaver that can be used comfortably under the shower or in a bathtub as it is completely waterproof.

The only other wet and dry shaver in the Braun Series 9 family is the 9040s. However, the 9095cc (and 9040s) can only be used cordless. This is a safety feature so as to prevent electrocution when using the device in the shower or bathtub.

All Series 9 shavers are completely waterproof and can be washed under running water. However, only the 9095cc, 9090cc and the 9050cc come with a Clean & Charge Station which charges the device while at the same time cleaning it. In fact, all shavers in the Braun Series that end with the letters “CC” all have a Clean & Charge Station.

This feature enables a thorough cleaning of the device leaving it hygienic and smelling fresh. It does however come at a price as the cleaning cartridges need replacement every now and then. After the cleaning process is over, the device then dries the shaver using the innovative “Active Drying” technology.

Always remember to follow the instructions on the manual so as to get the maximum from your device. The Clean & Charge station must be handled properly to prevent accidents and unnecessary costs:

• Always place it on a flat surface to prevent spillage of the cleaning liquid
• Do not place on extremely smooth surfaces as this can lead to slippage
• Avoid jerky movements when carrying the cleaning station so as to prevent leakage of the cleaning liquid
• Keep the station away from sources of ignition such as cigarettes as the liquid is highly inflammable
• The cartridge should be safely disposed of and not refilled as this may damage the station as well as give poor cleaning results

The battery comes when it is completely drained and for you to use the device you will have to charge it for about one hour. When the battery has attained a full charge, you will then be able to use it for 50 minutes before needing to recharge it.

If you unexpectedly run out of charge, the Braun 9095cc comes with a “quick charge” feature that enable you to shave for five minutes – enough time to complete you shave. This feature will save you the embarrassment and frustration of losing charge in the morning when you are in a hurry.

The 9095cc also comes with a battery indicator that has a numerical display which also shows the hygiene status of the device as well as having a travel lock indicator.

All shavers in the Braun Series 9 come with an innovative automatic voltage adaptation technology that makes them usable in any type of power system. This is an important feature especially for people who travel to different countries that have different power voltage standards.

Like the 9090cc, the Braun 9095cc is mostly made from silver coloured plastic that is finished beautifully in such a way that it is hard to notice the fact that it is plastic. On the blade and the cutting parts are made from metal.
