5 Tips for Finding The Perfect Hair Stylist

Finding the right hair stylist is the same as finding a dentist, doctor or other necessary business and service you will require during your lifetime. I want to share a few tips to help find a quality hair salon. When you walk out, you should feel terrific and want to refer them to your friends and family.

1. Search by location first. It is nice to have that convenience of nearness to your home or employer.

2. Review each salon's websites, Facebook page and Google reviews to gain individual's personal experiences and knowledge of the services provided.

3. If prices are listed, review to ensure the services you need are within your budget. If not, you may consider one with a little lower pricing or cut an extra cost in your expenses that you can live without.

4. If there are portfolio's, review them or look at images people have posted on Facebook. Like an interior designer, hair stylists should suit your style and preferences based on their work.

5. Be prepared during your consult to discuss what you want, as specifically as possible. Stay open to their input as well. If you have a picture you love from a magazine or a previous style you had, take those along to show your stylist.

Your satisfaction is essential to professional stylists that what your return business. Perform a little research first and you will locate your perfect, life long hairstylist. I enjoy and look forward to going. I also enjoy the comfort, conversations and recommendations that have benefited my hair.

Hair Salon Service Review

I would like to write my review on Casa Bella Salon in Blue Springs, Missouri. I want to share my experience with their services over the past couple years. It took me half my life to decide to spend more on a better stylist, instead of fast haircuts. My prior experience was with Fantastic Sam's. The lady at Fantastic Sam's was talking about the economy , and how people are getting their hair cut less often. At the same time, she chopped and thinned my fine hair way too much. I never went back.

The second reason that pushed me towards spending more is when I got to a point where highlighting my hair with over the counter products, stopped working. My hair was getting dark. That is when I knew it was time to find a talented hair stylist.

Part of my decision was based on their location, close to my home and looking online to review their website, philosophy and look for reviews. They are located on Facebook so I could see personal raves about the stylists. I also found people on Foursquare that shared the same raves about specific stylists.

My stylist and for my son that is now 18 is Anna Bales. We had an in-depth discussion about what happened, what I wanted and what I was working towards (growing the length and thickness of my hair back in, which normally takes more than a year and a half). She listened exceptionally well, sympathized and explained exactly what she would do. My nervousness slowly disappeared as she performed. She trimmed my hair, highlighted it with foil highlighting and gave me a very relaxing hair wash and rinse.

Each stylist spends a considerable deal of time meeting needs, explaining techniques and suggesting products when you express interest in them. So if, there are hair issues, like dryness, there are products and timing of application that will resolve the issues. They are not afraid to recommend products not sold within the salon, if applicable to the problem.

I recently started using the waxing services too. This is another service I waited half my life to try out. I was impressed with the results and happy with how fast the process is completed while in the private hair washing area. My brows look exceptionally elegant without looking unnatural , and I did not have to pluck each hair!

I made my daughter try the waxing service too , and she is immensely happy with the results. She did complain a little more about the pain, then I did. I did not think there was much discomfort at all, very tolerable and worthwhile. You can see Erica's eyebrows and hair style in the pictures. Her hair stylist is Megan Guadagnano and is perfect for my daughter. She always meets the hairstyles she picks from magazines and spends extra time straightening her hair after the cut.

The last time I visited my highlights were not as light as I wanted. I returned after a week and a half , and they happily applied additional golden blonde highlights without cost. This in no way, reduces my feelings about their high quality, professional styling services; along with the depth knowledge, experience and ability to create a style.

I love this hair salon, and hair stylists I use. I have observed other stylists available in the salon and always see the same quality service and treatment with them as well.

I feel like I am going in to have a talented friend style my hair. It is wonderful to feel that happy about going in for a hair cut. I always leave feeling satisfied with the service.

Initially, they offered some discount cards for a future discount on hair styling and another on hair products. I used both extremely quickly. They also send an email reminder about your upcoming appointment, which is perfect when you have a busy schedule.

"I highly recommend Casa Bella Salon and the stylists contracted there. My personal experience is with Anna Bales and Megan Guadagnano." Brenda Green.
