If you are looking to spice up your eye makeup routine, try these celebrity looks for smokey eye makeup for blue eyes.
Blue eyes can get away with a lot of daring looks, and smokey eyeshadow makeup is the hottest of them.
Celebrities like Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Angelina Jolie, and Evan Rachel Wood love to wear smokey eye makeup. This hub helps you recreate their looks.
Avril Lavigne (right)
Avril is a big fan of smokey eyes, and wears this look perhaps more than any other celebrity. To recreate her look, coat your lids in ice blue eyeshadow. Then apply brown eyeshadow to the area above your lids to your browbone. Above that, extending to your eyebrows, apply a light pink eyeshadow. Draw black eyeliner slightly thick around your entire eye, and out towards the outer corners of your lids. Finish off with three coats of black mascara.
Katy Perry (above)
Katy Perry uses a more intricate smokey eyeshadow look, incorporating four eyeshadow colors. To recreate Katy's great punk eye makeup look, apply neon purple eyeshadow to your eyelids and along the underside of your lower lashline.
Then apply a thin line of lighter, powdery purple eyeshadow above that and extending towards your inner eye corners. Also apply a thin line of this below your lower lashline. Next, take a darker purple shadow, and apply it to the top outer edge of the outer corner of your eye, and also to the bottom outer corner.
Then smear a pearl colored shadow above all of this eye makeup up to your eyebrows. Line your entire eyes with a black eyeliner to a medium thickness. Finish off with four coats of black mascara or false black eyelashes.
Angelina Jolie (right)
Angelina's smokey eye makeup is easy to recreate on your blue eyes. Cover your entire eyelid to the inner and outer corners and along the entire underside of your eye with teal eyeshadow.
From directly above the crease of your eyelid to right beneath your eyebrows, apply a coat of peach eyeshadow.
Line your entire eye with a thick coat of black eyeliner, getting thickest in the outer-upper corner. Finish off with three coats of black mascara or false eyelashes.
Evan Rachel Wood (above)
I love Evan's eye makeup more than any other look on this page. It is simply beautiful.
To get Evan's look, coat your entire lid and all the way up to your eyebrow in a light powder blue eyeshadow. Then apply a medium powder blue color only to the top-outer edge above your eyelids.
Apply a black eyeliner in a medium-thick line above your top lash line, and a thinner line along the rest of your eye. Finish off with two layers of black mascara.
