The cherry blossom has symbolized a variety of different things throughout time. The cherry blossom has been a symbol of beauty and femininity for many years. The same meaning can be referenced back to the cherry blossom tattoo. They also represented fragility, due to the cherry blossom's quick bloom. Many people believe that this represents the delicate time of one's life.

Cherry blossom symbolism differs between Japan and China. To the Chinese, the cherry blossom is a symbol of power and strength. The cherry blossom is also a symbol of wealth in the Chinese culture. To the Japanese, the cherry blossom symbolism is more delicate and feminine. The cherry blossom represents virginity, beauty, and life. This is always my favorite part of any of my articles because I know how hard it is to find that perfect tattoo. We can actually find inspiration from many places and I hope you are able to find it in my articles. As you know by now, there are several ways that cherry blossoms are portrayed. There are many variations of the cherry blossom tattoo. Please be sure to view all the different cherry blossom tattoo designs in this article! We can gain great ideas when doing so, very important! Take the time to really look at them and what makes each one special and unique.

One great idea for cherry blossom tattoos is by adding a touch of blue shading around the tattoo. There are actually a few examples of this in the pictures of the cherry blossom tattoo designs. It truly sets the tattoo off and it is a great combination with the pink cherry blossom flowers. It is cute and beautiful, perfect for any girl.

I really like the idea of having cherry blossoms as a decorative. You could decorate a prior tattoo with them or perhaps add them to a name tattoo. Another great idea is having cherry blossoms surrounding a Kanji character. Both of them are associated to one another. You may want to portray the cherry blossom flower as if it is blowing in the wind. The artwork in portraying the blowing cherry blossom flower would make for a great tattoo as well.

You know that the cherry blossom is associated to Asia, so it can be linked to other Asian symbols, such as the dragon, yin yang, or Phoenix. I believe there is one or two photos of this in the article. If your looking for that rich symbolism, you may want to try adding snow to your cherry blossom tattoo. I know, what about the white ink? Yes, white ink is the hardest color to work with, but it can work. The cherry blossom may look great with other flowers, such as an orchid or lotus.

The tattoo on the right is the example of the blue outline or blue shading. It truly is a beautiful tattoo that would catch the eye of anyone. That is another thing, you may want to add a small landscape scene behind your cherry blossom tattoo. This would work great for a full back tattoo. I like the full back tattoo with the entire tree, but I believe it is very bland, no color. If you add the color of the landscape with a little green and blue, that cherry blossom tree tattoo will look so much better. Even with tattoos of the branch or flowers, you may want to consider adding a little color behind them.

Cherry blossom flowers are very beautiful. Even when they are done alone, when done correctly, they are gorgeous. Cherry blossom flower tattoos can be tattooed nearly anywhere. This is also a great tattoo for the groin area or hips. Remember, the cherry blossom symbolizes feminine sexuality. Not only that, it is a beautiful sexy flower and it would make a great sexy tattoo.

I truly hope you were able to gain some ideas and inspiration from this article. If you are thinking about getting a tattoo, please make sure that your 110% sure of your choice. If your not sure, no need to get inked. Take the time to do your own research, as you are doing now, to learn about what the tattoo stands for and represents. If you are not sure or you want to take the time to view more tattoo designs, please feel free to follow the links below. As always, thank you very much for your time and visit.

Beautiful. I've been having babies lately so my tattooing got put on the back burner but a cherry blossom tattoo is one I've been wanting since I got married. I want my married last name Kim in Korean (since my hubby is korean) with plum blossoms around the top and left side of it. This would be on my left shoulder blade. I say plum blossoms because I think they are a little prettier than cherry, but I'm sure they're the same to most people. ^_^ Your collection of pictures is wonderful for helping me draw the best design for me, thank you! voted up

Thank you all for your time and comments. To answer your question Mary, tattoo artist mainly use stencils that they have created. They can design these and ink over them to make a perfect tattoo. They still have to make the stencil, plus create the art with ink. These are very skilled artist.

Wow this is some serious artwork! Simply gorgeous! I am still tat-free. I haven't felt the desire yet for a tattoo or a need. Yet, I do appreciate body art of others. Fab hub!

IF I were to get a tattoo (mind you, I said IF), I would definitely get a cherry blossom tattoo. I really like the smaller design on the foot. I've always wondered: do these tattoo draw these from memory or do they have a design book they can copy? I'm somewhat of an artist myself, and it amazes me how they can make these designs.

I voted this Hub UP, beautiful....
