When it comes to representing your current or former alma mater, college tattoos are a great way to go. This is your chance to forever carry your schools color in the form of a college tattoo. Even if you didn't attend college, such tattoos are perfect for anyone that wants to sport their favorite college. College athletics are very popular among men and women, especially men.

There are several different variations to college tattoos. Since college logos represent everything about a specific college, they may be chosen as a tattoo design. Each college also has a mascot that can be portrayed in college tattoos. If your a big college football fan, you may want to get a football helmet tattoo of your favorite college. You may just want something simple, such as the name of your college done in school colors. Anything that is associated to college may be included in college tattoos.

When it comes to choosing your college tattoo design, there are several things that may be portrayed in such tattoos. Since college athletics are so popular, they are often chosen for tattoos. If your a big college football fan, you may have a favorite player portrayed running the ball. He could be portrayed on the football field or posing. If you have a favorite basketball player, you could have him designed dunking the ball. What if your favorite college has one a few championships or special bowl games? You may have the emblem of your college designed with the National Championship trophy.

So what can you choose from if you are not big on athletics? This is a great question. For those of you that went to college, I am sure that you had a special place to hang out or a facility that is dear to your heart. If you do, take a great picture of it and bring it to the tattoo shop with you. You may have a statue on campus that you want tattooed. If you can't think of anything, you may want to have the university tattooed on you. There are many possibilities for you, just think outside the box.

For those who wear college tattoos, there can be a few symbolic meanings attached to such tattoos. College tattoos can represent your pride and support for the college you attend or graduated from. It can represent the love, passion, and honor that you have for your school. Remember, what ever sport it may be, you can have it tattooed. You can also choose a logo that represents the entire school and all sports.

Before you get inked, remember, tattoos are lifelong. Even with laser removal and cover ups, all tattoos can be fixed. College tattoos can be very symbolic for those who wear these tattoos proudly. For many, college is the place that turned them into a man and woman. College was the beginning for many people of all walks of life. If college shaped your life, then you deserve such a tattoo.
