Drawing Demonic Tattoos

Demon Tattoos: Finding The Best Demonic Tattoos For Inspiration

When it comes to getting the best evil dark and demon tattoos for some good old fashioned inspiration, it's certainly best to look around, some are good, some are totally bad, but it's up to you on what you decide to use for the basis of your own set of tattoos.

And believe me there are lots to choose from in the many online tattoo directories.

Of course if you was anything like me, you'd start to draw your own demonic tattoos the way you'd want to and you'd come up with finding that perfect tattoo that you've always wanted and others will want too.

But instead you could go the route of looking and seeing what else is out there, if you want a demonic tattoo design that bad, chances are it already exists somewhere out there, to have that tattoo idea you have always imagined to wear on your arm or wherever.

Of course there are such things as asking your local tattooist to customize a personal design based on your description of the tattoo that you want and this would be a valid method, but again this would mean coming back to the tattoo artist twice or maybe repeat visits to finish the tattoo and for some this is just not in their best interests(although most tattoos are done in stages anyway, especially the larger ones)

First Steps Of Drawing A Demonic Tattoo

Demonic Tribal Tattoo Drawing

Designing a demon tribal tattoo is the best way of designing a tattoo, the design elements work best when you have planned out your design first and tribal designs look good on almost anything, so here we have a design that has been drawn in pencil and the rough sketch is there as I wanted to achieve a strong design with a tribal swirl around the back of the demon and that is what it has turned out like.

Refine The Tattoo Design And Ink It

Work the pencils a bit to sketch in more detail for your demon tattoo.

Work On The Design And Then Black Ink Everything

Work on the pencil drawing of the demon tattoo a bit more so that you get it right or as good as the drawing will allow you.

Inking over the pencil lines helps to make your tattoo design even more stronger and stand out better, I try to minimize detail and just make this a great demonic tattoo design, I then erase the pencil marks.

Adding Colour To Your Tattoo Design

Working out a colour scheme for your demonic tattoo is quite easy as demons tend to be bathed in fire and flame reds and yellows, so work on a colour scheme with these colours in mind.

Here is my final demon tattoo design and I'm pleased with the way it turned out.

      Cheers Carrie.

I could draw something better, but why put my best demonic tattoo art on here if it's not for sale. More of an inspiration tutorial this one!

Thanks much for the drawing tips. I think I might have seen some of your work elsewhere, not sure. Anyway, I like the demon face, and will definitely try drawing that but will probably do something different with the body/tribal part myself.

I think I'd pick a good demon over a dolphin anyday. I already have a rose but that was my first tattoo a long time ago, nowadays I would not get something so basic and unoriginal, or at least would prefer to get it incorporated into something really cool.

The shading on your demon is very good. Hopefully you could design those rub off tattoos the kids like to wear. That could be lucrative!

      Thanks Nancy and Dame!

Women do ask for these too, but I don't think they are more popular for women than a dolphin or a rose tattoo!

I've designed myself loads of demonic tattoos, but can neven go through with it, I know they do it in stages, so it won't be one continuous sting with the ink needle.

I'll build up the courage to get one sooner or later!!
