What is hot this fall season?

Fashion week has come and gone leaving behind some new trends. As I hit the internet to check out these trends I come to realize something. All of them are either 60s inspired or 80s inspired. A few were modern looks elevated to a new level. There also is a huge fascination with glitter this season so grab the glitter girls! Bright colors this fall also seems to be a big thing this year. The natural bare looking face is still a popular trend as well. I was extremely pleased to see my favorite classic look, the bold red lips. This year they amped it up so make sure you catch that below.

What are my favorite trends of 2018?

-The updated floating liner using vibrant colors like violet and pink.

-Liquid liners of various colors

-Smoky eye look using a pink shadow and blueliner on the lower lashline.

-Glitter! I mean seriously, what girl does not like to sparkle?

-The use of emerald, silver and black shadows.

-The smoky eye using metallic steel blue shadow

-Jewel-toned shadows while the rest of the face is kept natural.

-The rock and punk girl makeup looks.

-Matte Red Lips with a gold highlighter for cupids bow.

Bold and Bright Colors

Bold colors like plum also showed up on lips this year. One of the Makeup Artist created an amazing ombre lip. Paired with a naked face it created a glamour goth look. Matte red lips were highlighted with gold to bring the cupids bow to attention. Glitter with dark color shadows created amazing smoky eyes. Natural faces with a hint of color popped.

Neon hues brought back memories of teased bangs, hairspray and slouch socks. The 80s made a huge appearance at Fashion Week through beauty and fashion. So grab your favorite beauty magazine, your caboodles and relive your life in the 80s.

Get in touch with your inner 60's and 80's fashionista ladies then bump it up a bit!
