Fine Feminine Lingerie From Natori

Updated on November 4, 2009

Natori is a luxury lifestyle brand with its roots in lingerie, and I gotta say, the lingerie is something to write home about. (The towels ain't bad either, but they're not what we're here to talk about.) Delicate styling, cuts that break the rules and fabrics fit for a king are some of the factors that set Natori lingerie apart from the rest of the herd.

Let's see what Josie Natori and her crew have been up to, shall we?

Peony Lingerie from Natori

Peony Contour Cami Bra

This is beautiful, and entirely suitable for men who wear lingerie. There's some underwear, for a modicum of support if you happen to need any, but more importantly a swathe of filmy gold colored lace. It's been a while since I've seen lingerie this feminine and pretty. Its also designed to be visible under a daintily unbuttoned blouse, so its perfect for those little lingerie outings.

Peony Lace Panties (Thong)

Ever seen a thong that looks like this before? A high waist, swathe of lace, a dipping center seam for an additional thrill, and a thong cut panty on the backside, but not before another thick band of gentle lace caresses your body. This is what lingerie is supposed to be like.

Feathers Lingerie From Natori

Feathers Plunge Bra

You don't see cuts like this very often do you? Not trimmed with original lace from cup to straps this way. When matched with the panties, you'll be flying higher than any bird.

Feathers Girl Brief

Much like the Peony Panties, the Feathers Girl brief is sheer, but hardly skimpy. The mesh and lace combination is lined for the wearer's comfort. Columns of feathers rise from the crevice of the crotch towards the scalloped waistband.

The Ugly Duckling | Body Doubles Femme Hispter

I hate to criticize, and I very rarely do it, but these panties won an award for being someone's favorite boyshort and they're not even really boyshorts, which I guess makes them pretty amazing from the outset. The weird rouching in the middle is designed to give your derriere definition, apparently it works, personally I think it looks like your ass was put together by Frankenstein's creator.

But perhaps the most troubling aspect of these panties is that even the ugliest of the Natori range is a work of art.

These are just some of the offerings of Natori. The bulk of the lingerie is typified by a simple, yet elegant approach and a focus on quality that transforms putting on a bra and panties into an unforgettable experience.

The Natori's you have pictured are gorgeous. I especially like the Feather's Girl Shorts. Even the Body Doubles are sharp, but that beige has got to go. I always liked the butt rouching look but I never really thought of it as Frankenstein's booty crack before. I have a few pair of panties from Flirtitude with rouching and find them very comfortable. I've been told they look great on me. Hope, I don't know about Natori's towels but their nightgowns are exquisite.

Lovely undies! The doubles looks uncomfortable though.

No no, my ones are black and not from Natori... hence how they flew under my radar (and my eyes, apparently.)

You probably look good in them, notorious_HAI, I'd look like an elephant in spandex.

Hmmm, wouldn't classify myself as teen or supermodel....definitely not curvy, but I get away with it in the dark. When people are drunk.

Um, Hope? Aren't all those lovely, scrumptuous Natioris BEIGE? Are you easing off your distaste for beigeness? Can beigeness be overcome by prettiness and good design?

Just to note: that butt-ruching (sorry, had to) is great for guys, whose posteriors aren't nearly so well-defined as the feminine bottom. It works. Warner made a range called "The End" that was incredibly effective at giving definition where the same was less than apparent, and it did so with the same principle.

Skinny jeans ARE hideous! (Assuming you have a semblance of a curve somewhere on your body, they're fine for teens and supermodels.)

hahaha...I think I'll keep them on my "they look good on other people" list. But you never know. I thought skinny jeans were hideous, but now I'm wearing them. Bloody peer pressure. Next I'll be getting onto the harem pants bandwagon....

You know what the funny thing is? I was all "ew, look at these panties", then today I pulled out a pair of my favorites and realized that they actually have that crack ruching as well. So there you have it. I'm oblivious to my own lingerie.

Not entirely sure that ruching belongs right where the bum crack is, but that model does have a nice ass. Where can you buy this brand? I don't mind their other stuff.

hehe yes, but my somewhat too manly looking derriere could use some help. :)

I've seen this cut copied before, including on swimwear. Been meaning to try it out but haven't got around to it.
