What was trendy in Fall 2015
Introduction
We look back at 2015 Fall fashion trends to find out what was hot and in style. Some of these trends have made an appearance in the past fall season, while others are surprisingly new. Without further ado, here are the five fall trends for 2015.
Fur
Many designers incorporated practicality into their fashion lines. That is why we see fur as a common trend for this fall. It’s both fashionable and warm! Although, it is very controversial, designers are still using it in the fashion lines. Fur was spotted on the Tom Ford, Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors and Altuzarra runways.
Loose Turtlenecks
Making a re-appearance and keeping us warm are loose turtlenecks. The style this fall will be looser and not as tight as conventional turtlenecks. This makes it more relaxed and stylish. DKNY and BCBG Max Azria rocked this look!
Fringe
Fringe was a surprising fashion trend. It certainly adds movement and flare to a garment! Fringe was seen on the Ralph Lauren and Marchesa runways.
Florals
Although often associated with spring, florals were also seen on a few designers fashion lines including Oscar de la Renta. Florals always add femininity and beauty!
Black and White
Black and white was the trendy colour combo for this fall. The contrasting duo is quite classy and elegant. Donna Karan and Oscar de la Renta showcased them in their runway.
Closing Remarks
For Fall 2015, fur was in, so were turtlenecks, fringe and florals. The hot colours were black and white. Did you wear any of these trends in 2015? Will these trends make reappear in the future. I am confident that some of these trends will make a reappearance.
