Flawless Makeup Tips

A Natural Look

The Wrong Foundation Choice

The Wrong Foundation Choice

I can not express how bad it looks for a person to wear the wrong foundation. Foundation too dark or too light can really screw up what might have been a great makeup application. Rule of thumb, if the same shade of foundation does not bring out the highlights in skin, then a shade lighter should be used. Using foundation darker than the natural tones in skin will make a person look drab an unnatural.

The Eyes are Defined

A Natural Look With Flawless Eye Catching Eyes

There are those times when a person would like to wear a trendy look that is a little brighter than usual. This is perfectly fine because there is definition on they eyes only without the entire face looking bright and catchy. I think that wearing eye shadow like this is bold and beautiful. This is a perfect time to play with colors like hot pink, blue, green, and even yellow. I have even seen people wear jewelry or fashion to bring out this look.

Too Much Makeup

Too Much Makeup in the Wrong Places

I can not express how bad it looks for a person to wear the wrong foundation. Foundation too dark or too light can really screw up what might have been a great makeup application. Rule of thumb, if the same shade of foundation does not bring out the highlights in skin, then a shade lighter should be used. Everyone Can Have Flawless Makeup

Being a licensed cosmetologist for the last twenty three years and an Avon beauty advisor for the last fifteen years, I realize that there is a great need for people to know how to properly apply makeup. Whenever I see makeup applications like this I think to myself how I would love to give that person a makeover. I've managed to do a lot of makeup in my day but decided that this article could be helpful within the online community. I enjoy sharing makeup tips and teaching people how to look and feel their best. Below are flawless makeup tips that will help a person achieve a professional flawless look that appeals.

A Natural Look - My Idea of Flawless Makeup

In my mind, makeup should look natural. I love to see women that wear makeup that adds to the natural beauty that they already have but does not give that clown affect. In other words makeup that enhances a look without looking as if too much is applied. I think that maybe some women feel that they are applying it properly and some feel that the more they apply, the better they look.

To achieve a natural look, one should apply the right amount of makeup. This means not too much or not too little. This also means choosing the correct shades of foundation, liner, mascara, eye shadow, rogue, concealer, and lipstick that blends well with a persons natural skin color.

Should You Dare to Wear Red Lipstick??

I think so! I do not feel that this is a color that a person would wear everyday but if there is a certain look that a person is trying to achieve and it looks good why not? Maybe you are a person that would like a Marilyn Monroe look. There are different shades of read but if a person wants luscious ruby glossy red lips then I say go for it!

Wearing False Eyelashes

Not everyone is comfortable with wearing them but they can really enhance a look and bring out the natural beauty in a person's eyes. They can be a little difficult to apply at first but once a person uses them a few times, they usually get the hang of it. If they appear too ling they can be cut down just a little. They should look natural just the same as the makeup that is applied.

How to Use Concealer

This should be used under foundation to cover up any dark or red spots that may be present. Concealer is really great for dark spots under or over the eyes. It is also good for acne or wrinkles. Once lightly applied and blended into the skin, then the foundation can be applied. The foundation should not be mixed in with the concealer, it should be covered over the concealer.

Eyebrow Shaping

If you are a person like me that has very thin eyebrows then you can still enjoy the benefits of brow shaping with either tweezers, wax, or razors. If the brows are still not visible enough then the help of eyeliner will be needed. If the hair is very thick this is something that a person may want to do regularly to keep a fresh look.

Wearing makeup can really improve the looks of an individual but when the makeup is worn in a way that is not applied correctly instead of making a person look better, it makes a person look worse. Too much can give a clown affect and too little or the wrong shades can take away from the persons natural beauty. Using the flawless makeup tips above will not only improve a persons look but give the professional look that makes a person feel and look flawless.
