Great Rainbow Eyeshadow Looks to Try
Pastel Rainbow Eyeshadow
- For this look you will need three eyeshadow colors: medium pink, mint green, and yellow. You will also need black liquid eyeliner.
- Because the colors are bright, this design looks best on tan or olive skin.
- To have a flawless look, make sure you are wearing full foundation and concealer. Wearing this family of colors, your skin could look dull without it.
- The area you must be the most careful with is on the lower lash line and beneath it. This is because you must apply minute amounts of makeup in small areas as well as be extra careful not to injure your eye when you line the area inside of your lashes.
Bold Rainbow Eyeshadow
- While this look seems simple, you actually need eight colors to complete the design: light pink, medium pink, canary yellow, orange, ruby red, purple, emerald green, and sea foam green.
- You will notice if you substitute one of the eyeshadow colors with the color of your natural eye, the makeup will look just as wild but it will have more synergy with the overall look of your face.
- False eyelashes will complete this look better than mascara. When you are covering your eye area in bold colors, it is best to have big lashes that can hold up to the look!
Mardi-Gras/Carnival Style Rainbow Eyeshadow
- This look is best completed with the use of cream eyeshadows.
- You can either buy matte cream eyeshadows and apply glittery body makeup gel over the streaks (carefully) or apply cream eyeshadows that already have glimmer/glitter to them.
- For the best results, work from the inside of your eye-outwards when creating streaks. This way you can more easily adjust the thickness of the streaks as you go along.
- For a variation, you can make your lids and underneath your eyebrows any color, as long as it matches a color in the streaks.
