So in the coming paragraphs we will present three natural recipes made from oatmeal, which are recipes of Egyptian skin care expert "Hossam Al-Maraghi".

What Do You Know About Oatmeal?

Oatmeal is grown in Europe and North America. Scientifically called Avena sativa. Oatmeal is known to be rich in antioxidants, soluble fibers called beta-glucan and minerals. It is also a very good source of protein, which contains a high proportion of a protein called avenalin so oatmeal is a very suitable food for people who can not eat gluten-rich baked goods, which are usually found in wheat.

Before applying any natural recipe on your face, you should follow these tips:

  • Test a small area of the skin before applying one of the oatmeal masks mentioned above to determine their effects and sensitivity to the skin.
  • Reduce the amount of acidic fruit such as lemon when used in the recipe so as not to cause the burning of the skin, especially sensitive ones.
  • Clean the skin of the face and neck well with soap and water to remove dirt, bacteria and to open the clogged pores before placing mixtures and masks.
  • Leave the mask on the face enough time, so that the skin can absorb most of its benefits while relaxing and not moving the facial muscles.
  • It should be noted that the face must be washed with lukewarm water after placing all previous oatmeal masks and then put the rose water and moisturizing cream on your face.
