Being a lapidary and getting the chance to cut gemstones including Lapis, it's a great pleasure to see the rough stone, to slice it, and then to cut it into a cabochon.

It is fun to work with and each piece is unique. Too bad the price is rising so quickly.

@mirej You can carry the stone along with you in a pouch or even keep it somewhere near if you are not wearing it.

I just ordered a lapis luzuli gemstone. If I can't wear during the day, where should I keep it to block the negative energy. Also, in regard to the cleaning process, can you give a tip, how to do the cleansing by ourselves. thanks for your helpful comments and articles

Yes, it is a beautiful gem. Just make sure that you don't wear it throughout the Day and if you want to use it for healing purpose, only an expert should do the cleansing process. Thanks for your Comment.

Lapis Lazuli is one of the most beautiful gems to me. Thank you for such an informative hub about it. I never knew the connection it had to astrology. I'm going to go look through my bag of gems to see if I have this one, because it sounds like one that I need pronto. :)
