Best Treatment for hair - Elvive Instant Miracle

Updated on November 11, 2014

Instant Miracle

These days everyone gets some hair treatments done once in a while from hair dyeing to rebonding to perming. Even if you don’t get those treatments done its quite likely that you style your hair using straighteners, curlers and hair dryers. With all of that going on, add to it the common diet and lifestyle trends of the day. How do you think it affects your hair?

A few months after I got my hair rebonded ,a few years ago, I noticed split ends and hair fall. Although my hair looked amazingly shiny, straight and soft for a few months after the treatment, hair loss was too high a price to pay for me to get it done again. I opted to style my hair with a hair straightener (which I love by the way, it’s the precision liner by Braun). My hair is more prone to split ends and hair fall now than it was pre- rebonding. I tried a lot of different hair products and my problem is that I like to see some instant results. I came across the Loreal Elvive Total Repair 5 Instant Miracle Cream at my local grocery store and it was on promotion for the same price as my conditioner so I decided to buy it. I loved it so much that I decided to do a review on it.

What it claims

L’Oréal Paris ELVIVE Total Repair 5 Instant Miracle – is a 60 second ‘miracle’ restoring treatment which has the power of an intense treatment within the time it would take for you to use your conditioner. It leaves your hair looking healthy and soft. “The restoring Pro-Keratin and resurfacing Ceramide penetrates deep into the hair, intensively repairing from the inside.

“Upon application, Instant Miracle Cream light formula enriched with restructuring pro-keratin and re-surfacing ceramide instantly merges with the hair fibre and penetrates it for a deep repair. You’ll instantly feel the difference: hair feels restored with an even and smooth surface and an incredibly soft touch.” That’s what it says on the back of the cream and that was what made me buy it.

It claims to make the hair stronger, smoother, shinier, thicker and repaired ends.

What it is

The first thing is that it smells absolutely amazing (better than the Elvive conditioners).

I can’t quote the exact price because it’s different in every country but it is pretty reasonable probably costs a little more than the Elvive conditioners.

It’s a light pink colored gel like creamy consistency, quite easy to work through the hair.

It comes in a tube like package and has the flip-to-open top which keeps the cream hygienic. Easy to squeeze out when you are in the shower.

What it does

It claims to be an instant miracle cream and to an extent it is instant. The first time I used it my hair felt softer instantly almost upon applying it, but that’s the result I used to get from my Elvive conditioner why would I pay a higher price for the same result?

I decided to give it 2 weeks (applying it as a replacement to my conditioner every other day). I have to say it might not have been instant but it was a miracle nonetheless. My hair fall was better by 80% and the split ends I don’t even know where to start, they were pretty much repaired. Now smoothness and softness I had gotten from other conditioners but no hair fall and no split ends were new for me. I have been using this ever since (almost 2 months now).

Will I re-purchase?

Do give it a try, it’s amazing!
