Matching Your Dress Codes
Colour Code
How often do we walk into a circus and find ourselves smiling involuntarily due to the amount of colour clashing around us? Hardly do we stop to question our laughter, but on the other hand, no one needs to tell us how humorous the clown was. Apart from the funny acts, our laughter is usually triggered by the colour code of the clown.
There are many people out there who would do with a bit of advice on the type of colours to don before venturing out. A bit of toning to match is necessary if our clothes will serve up that cheerful mood that might even cure that minor malaise. I at times feel cloth stores need to employ shop attendants with enough experience to guide buyers on suitable clothes they need to purchase.
Dress codes vary for the two sexes, such that, where men have a limit to their choices, ladies are spoilt for choice. Masculine attire leans more towards darker shades of the deep coloured fabrics. These may of course be punctuated by an occasional bright shirt and that rather brilliant tie to enhance the male outlook.
Ladies on the other hand can dress in anything and stand out to be counted. A careful blend of shades of colour greatly complements a lady’s outlook when supported with the right make up. The key word here is harmony with an aim to strike a balance in colour so as not to overdo things. Failure to follow these principles produces a colour clash that is capable of making you seem rather ridiculous in public. Colour enhances fashionable attire.
