Megatek Cell Rebuilder- Secret to Long Thick Hair

I have never been one to jump on the bandwagon and always prided myself on being an individual. Taking the road less traveled is usually my route, which is not always a good thing. I know. Well, one evening during my ritualistic cyber-stalking of long hair care forums, I became intrigued. Women of different ethnicities contemplated buying a product that some claimed gave them up to 3 inches of hair growth in a month. Knowing human hair usually grows 0.5 an inch a month, I initially doubted the possibility. The funny thing about this product is it merchandised as an equine (horse) hair strengthener. Well, being on my healthy hair journey and longing for waist length hair, I began reading reviews of this product. Many great reviews exist on line but they were mostly given after a month of use. So I decided to make a trip to my local tack shop and invest in a bottle. Time for a little experiment.

After 3 months of consistent use here's my review. First of all, this product was quite a lofty price for me since I usually stick to grocery store hair care brands, around $32. It smells great kind of like pina colada. Here's how I used it.

• Deep Condition: Once a week I combined a quarter size amount with some organic coconut oil and applied directly to my scalp overnight as a deep conditioner. After the first week I noticed small white pustules on my scalp so I changed the ratio of product and used more coconut oil to moisturize my scalp.
• Counteract Shedding: After a few days, I noticed an increase in shedding. I decided to take a garlic supplement to counteract this shedding. Another option would be to rinse hair after washing with black tea steeped in water.
• Trim hair: After a month's use I was shocked to see about an inch of new hair growth but the growth was very uneven. I trimmed my hair about 0.5 an inch and almost tossed my bottle of Megatek. But the truth is my hair did grow, just uneven, so I chose to continue and focus on a more even application.
• Give Megatek a break then resume: Well after 3 months, I am really pleased!! My hair is noticeably thicker and stronger. I have about 2.5 inches of new growth, after my trim. I think I will give Megatek 2 thumbs up. I found out there is a human hair version called Ovation Cell Therapy that is a little more costly. I will now take a couple months off and focus on keeping my hair moisturized really well and resume after that.

According to the National Academy of Dermatology, human hair sheds 50-100 strands per day. So that hair on the bathroom floor is really normal! That's good news!

So if you are willing to spend a little more on hair care products and are committed to healthy hair care give Megatek a try.
