Men's Neck Tattoos

Updated on August 6, 2015

Neck tattoos among men and women are very popular. There is a massive variety of styles and designs that are available to choose from. Some people prefer a small, petite sized tattoo for the neck. While others prefer a more massive, large sized design for their neck tattoo. Some people even like to "sleeve" their necks, which is the same thing as sleeving an arm.

Whatever your choice of size and design, you want to make sure that the timing is right to get a tattoo. What I mean by this is a lot of times people get tattoos and don't think of the care of their tattoo. Like with a neck tattoo, you won't be able to move your neck very quickly because it will pull the tattoo scab. This always occurs to some degree, but with the neck you tend to move it on a continual basis which can lead to a painful tattoo experience.

I agree "zzron," I would never get one on the neck personally. I have 4 as well, but they are all in places not visible.

I definately agree with your advice and think that a lot of the times people don't think about the fact that a tattoo is forever, and 10 yrs. down the road they may not be happy with their decision !

Good safety advice for getting a tattoo. For someone who has four tattoos, not on my neck, I have to be a party pooper. I don't believe the neck is the best place for a tattoo. Especially if you're a young person with many years of life ahead of you.

You never get a second chance to make a first impression and most people judge you by your appearance without even knowing you as an individual. Tattoos are basically forever unless you have the money it takes to have them removed. Most people who get tattoos don't really think about how it will affect their future. I have a hub about tattoos and pictures of mine. If you're interested. Great topic.

The second photo was too scary. Aw!

When I am thinking to get one tattoo in my neck, even just a henna, I can see myself only in one sided. hahaha. Like i'll be having a stiff-neck after an hour.

Wow! The neck tattoo with the scar across the neck is actually very scary!
