My closet, My life~

With exciting array of colorful garments,

Adorned with hanging loose scarves,

A collection of stylish and vintage belts.

My closet contains an image of me,

With all sorts of screaming pieces of apparel,

Some quietly sitting untouched and lingering,

Some seductively whispering bits and pieces.

My closet contains an image of me,

With personal history, a kind of woman I am,

Well-heeled smile raveled from hems,

Well-heeled to hide seam edges and tears.

My closet contains an image of me,

With clothes neatly laundered and mended,

Gracefully tucked to ease some crease,

Maybe scruffy but not without functionality.

My closet contains an image of me,

It defines me to the core,

Things that I love you may not like,

But as a fashion bee I have a knack for details.

My closet contains an image of me,

Fashion freaks may drool on my wool,

I look for authenticity and I get fazed

on fakes, what is so untrue.

My closet contains an image of me,

In black and white and rainbow bows,

Sassy dresses need brushing off surface dirt,

I am chicest in jeans and shirts!
