Outfits of the Week

Updated on November 17, 2016

Monday-Day

After working a long weekend its time to start the work flow all over again. I'd like to have a soft casual look, since as Murphy's Law shows everything that will go wrong will. And Monday is the day for everything to go down.

So its time to enjoy a nice pair of skinny jeans and nice loose work top and a lovely little scarf to top off the work look for the day.

Shoe wise I'm stuck between actually wearing my wedge shoes, or my open toe booties. However I think I'm going to lean towards wearing the booties, because I already know my feet will hurt way-way less in those.

What You'll Need To Put This Outfit Together:

  1. Skinny jeans (blue denim or white denim)
  2. Large Infinity scarf
  3. Platform Sandels
  4. Silk Style top. Only slightly fitted.

As for my hair I really don't feel like dealing with getting my hair all done up since its Monday and Mondays always mean having to deal with returns and made people. So I'm just going to rock a nice simple straight look. Maybe put a couple of waves into it but nothing too crazy, or at least nothing crazier than the people I have to deal with.

What You'll Need:

  1. A Flat Iron (I own an instyler)
  2. Flat iron balm to protect your hair from damage.

However I really feel like doing a really nice red lip. I personally think I have really weird lips so its really rare I ever wear red-red lipstick up on Monday that is my place. I don't want to go too aggressive with the eyes however, just some nice natural nudes for that.

Tuesday Day: Day Off

I've grown to love the denim dress/tunic. I like how to covers the booty just enough. However you run into the large problem with the denim dress/tunic. Sometimes they can look like a big bag if you find a good fitting one.

What You'll Need For This Outfit

  1. A Longer Denim dress
  2. Sneakers
  3. Optional: Belt

What You'll Need For This Makeup Look

Wednesday Day: Day Off

High waist skirts and crop tops.

Thursday Day

One more day after Thursday, then I go on my big trip.

Friday

I work Friday before my big trip to my families cabin. However I enjoy always looking good so my causal Friday outfit includes:

  1. A basic tee
  2. Or Sleeveless button up tee
  3. Light Colored Pant
  4. Chunky Necklace
  5. Nude Hell
  6. Cardigan
  7. Or Blazer

I'm not including a watch like in one of the images. Since I don't currently own a watch. Perhaps I should go buy one.

After work we head up to my families cabin. However its about a 4 hour trip from where my boyfriend and I like to get to the cabin, we're taking my new car and I want to be comfy while we are heading up there. The outfit I'm picking to change into before we go up there is very basic.

Needing:

  1. Loose Top
  2. Flat Shoes
  3. Leggings
  4. Groovy Sunglasses
  5. Possible a jean shirt top
  6. Or a Cardigan

Hair wise I'm going to try and keep it very basic. Since we'll be driving for four hours after I get done working. I like the donut bun. Although my hair isn't completely long enough to go the bun super well I can still get it close enough. I'm hoping my hair gets long enough soon to be able to have a fun fluffy bun.

You'll Need

  1. Bobby pins
  2. Two or Three Hair ties
  3. Donut Bun circle or just bobby pin your hair until its you type of fluffy
  4. Hair Spray

Make Up wise I'm going to try and keep it neutral and basic. Something that will not be hard to remove when we get to have cabin but I still want to look very nice while at work. I'm obsessed with contouring so that's still going to happen to matter what!

What I use for Make Up

  1. Face Moisturizer
  2. Green Tinted Primer
  3. Foundation
  4. Highlighter
  5. Contour Color
  6. Highlighter Powder
  7. Bronzer
  8. Matted Powder foundation to seal the look
  9. Eye brow powder
  10. Mascara
  11. Small amount of liner
  12. Nude Lipstick

Saturday

During the day we wont be doing too much. We might go into the city near by and check out all the stuff going on there. So I want to look cute but not over the top. Recently I've fallen in love with loose tank tops. So my day time outfit includes:

  1. Loose "causal" tank top
  2. High Waist Shorts
  3. A Bralet
  4. Hoodie
  5. Or a Cardigan

That night we will be going to a "Celebration of Life" a funeral not funeral from an old friend of the family. Since it'll be at a bar I'd like to jazz myself up a little bit. Considering I'm covered in tattoos I'll also have to tone it down slightly as well.

What I'll need:

  1. Lace Shorts
  2. Or White Shorts
  3. long necklace
  4. Or Scarf
  5. Dress Tank Top
  6. Cardigan
  7. Or Blazer

Next is my hair, as stated before I have rather short hair. So instead of trying to pull it up I'm going rock some loose curls all day and then touch those up at the end of the night. Curls are pretty easy.

You'll Need:

  1. A curling wand
  2. Instyler (I have one)
  3. A hair tie to pull up your hair
  4. Hair Spray, not a strong hold hair spray

Makeup wise I have to go down two roads, during the day I'll have some natural make up with light eyeliner and l light earth tone eye shadow, that night I'll apply the make up slightly heavier but no so heavier as to scare the locals.

You'll Need:

  1. Moisturizer
  2. Foundation
  3. Primer
  4. Highlighter and Highlighter Powder
  5. Contour and Bronzer
  6. Finish powder
  7. Eye brow powder to fill those in
  8. Earth tone eye shadow (brown, gold, and black)
  9. Black eyeliner
  10. Deep Lipstick

Sunday

Since Sunday is the day my dad and his girlfriend will be headed back home I'm picking something pretty casual. I'm not sure what exactly sure what my boyfriend and I will be doing that day. Maybe we'll stop at a bar for some bloody marys or go into town or maybe we will go exploring.

My daytime outfit will be a nice loose top and soft shorts. Last year I bought soft shorts from Vanity and I bought them at the end of summer. So I didn't really get too much of a chance to wear them.

What I'll Need:

  1. Loose Top
  2. Cardigan
  3. Long necklace
  4. brown sandels

Monday

Monday is the day we'd be heading home. So I picked a causal soft sweat pants outfit for the drive back. Since I have to work on Tuesday anyway I'd like to be comfy again for that awful four hour drive.

What I'll Need:

  1. Sweat Pants
  2. Tank top
  3. Jean Shirt (maybe)
  4. Flat Shoes
