Pinterest Interests- Hot Bags: Saddle Bags
I have really begun to love the sight of a saddle bag. With their unique shape and cross-body feature they are a cute little accessory to your outfit. No matter if you have on jeans or a casual dress they add a cute charm. Here are a few that have caught my eye.
This little hot pink Pour La Victoire number is so cute with its gold accent fastener. The pink can definitely set off a single colored outfit. I can totally see it complimenting an all orange summer dress with a splash of this purse. Even matching it up with shoes of an outfit, to give your outfit a eye-popping finish. And did you catch the braided arm strap? Little details always makes things just a little more fascinating than they already are. Still not sure how I feel about the detachable tassle. I'd probably leave it off.
Check out this well detailed saddlebag. It’s even more different than the last. Down the middle you have a belt-looped in strap finished off by a buckle. And notice the whipstitching bordering the top flap of the bag. I love the design, my only wish was that it was in a different color. Perhaps multiple colors or two-toned. I envision it with yellow and hot pink whipstitching or purples and aquas. I'm just getting excited thinking about it.
How about these Anuschka bags? How artistic are these. Such handy work should be in an art gallery and not hanging from your shoulder. Well maybe it’s not such a bad idea, you will definitely catch eyes with it. With its unique art work you will definitely meet new people asking you where you got your bag from. I was so drawn by the works of art I almost forgot about the saddlebag itself.
These next two are definitely different. Can you guess what they’re made of? Look closer. It’s seatbelt material! At first sight, they give off a pretty satin appearance. The braid enhancing them and giving them a soft feminine touch. I have mixed emotions about the material. A distant view makes me see a “night out” bag but up close makes me think to not forget to put on my seatbelt. If all else I still like it enough to pair it with jeans and a top.
I absolutely love this bag by Adler & Co. Look at how distinctively unique it is. It’s not the normal saddlebag you see nowadays. It has a raw unfinished look to its leather yet an air of sophistication about it through its simple shaping. I would rock these with fitted jeans and a bohemian blouse or matching brown leather riding boots, black leggings and a cream colored blouse accented with lace or crocheting.
For the Vera Bradley lover, here’s some Bradley-esque bags for ya. With its unique colorful pattern you can match any of these bags up with any combo of colors you choose to wear. Take this bag with you to the movies, on a road trip or to do a little comfy shopping.
I can’t deny my lust for the smell and look of leather. And these bags both have what I want. Look at this! Its petite look makes me just want to walk around with it for no reason at all. Its plain style and detailed top keep this bag interesting without any over-the-top attention-getter details. Did you happen to notice the pull through closure of the leather strap in order to fasten it? Clever. Just another one of those detailed features that give you all the more reason to tote it around.
This concludes my Pinterest interest for saddlebags. They have a distinctive shape and can be detailed in a number of ways. As you can see I have grown a small crush on these bags. They are perfect for wearing with a comfortable jeaned outfit whether you’re just wearing a patterned tee or a dressed up top for a fun night out. Donning it on your shoulder with a casual dress can definitely work too!
