Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer Review

Updated on April 2, 2015

I have very dry sensitive skin and decided to try Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer to see how it worked on my dry winter skin. The texture is a nice thick but not too creamy texture that went on smoothly. I liked that it is non scented so it would not irritate my skin or compete with other scents that I may use. The moisturizer did not go on heavy either, which I enjoyed. I find that a lot of moisturizers formulated for very dry skin and very think and go on like a mask and I always hated that feeling. This feels very light but when I touched my skin after I use it it feels very soft and supple. It seemed to leave my skin moist for several hours. I would say about 5 hours before I felt I had that tight dry feeling that my dry skin gets again. The bottle states that it last 24 hours, but I did not find that to be the case.

After 2 weeks of use

After 2 weeks of using Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer my skin seems softer and feels moist with it seeming to last longer as I use it more. I don't know if that is because using the same moisturizer on a regular basis my skin is drinking more in and it is building up improving my skins overall moisturizer level but it seems to work really well for my skin. It also has not cause one bit of skin irritation. It also seems as though the moisturizer is lasting longer. I would say it last around 8 hours now keeping my skin from having that tight feeling.

After a month of use

Now it has been one month since I started using the Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer. It seems after this much time it has started helping with the redness in my skin. My overall moisture level seems higher which I think in turn is helping with my redness problem.

Conclusion

The bottle lasted about one month before It was time to purchase more. So at only $9.99 for a 4.2 fl oz bottle I would say this is a winner and a real bargain.
