Summer Fashion Rocks!

Updated on May 23, 2015

Summer Is Here

The flowers are blooming gloriously and the trees are budding with new green leaves and people are mowing their lawns. But in America, summer officially kicks off in May with Memorial Day Weekend. This holiday marks the beginning of summer and encourages everyone to get outside and participate in the many outdoor activities available. Also with summer comes the need for a new wardrobe. Clothes that are more colorful, more revealing and made of a cooler, light weight fabric. Most women in America have a long standing tradition that it is unacceptable and in poor taste to wear white before the Memorial Day holiday. As for me personally, I think the idea of not wearing white before the Memorial Day holiday tradition is a silly old fashioned notion. I always wear white whenever I choose. Whether it is a new white down coat in the winter at Christmas or a white ruffled blouse for Valentine's Day. Maybe even a cute white hat or white shoes for the Easter holiday.

Summer Wardrobe

The warmer summer weather requires clothes that are made from soft, thin material and are of light colors compared to the dark, drab clothes of the winter season. This is why I enjoy watching the colorful spring-summer fashion shows. These fashion shows seem to pull us out of the winter blues and gets us into the spring-summer season. From these fashion shows I can get a good idea of the new colors and trends of the spring-summer fashions. The CHANEL ready-to-wear-spring-summer 2015 fashion show really impressed me, as I hope it does my readers. The bright colors and the new styles are an inspiration and an excuse for women to update their summer wardrobe. Short summer dresses and mini skirts have long been a necessity for any females clothes collection. This summer's trends seem to be calling for a new version of capri pants and a bolder attitude in what women choose to adorn themselves with. The new accessories also seem to hint at a reflection from the 1960's in America. Summer means it is time to buy some sunglasses, new sandals and beautiful floppy hats to add to the new summer wardrobe.

Casual Clothes For Summer

The summer wardrobe consist of the most casual clothes of any of the other seasons of the year. Most of us prefer light colored, loose fitting, comfortable and flimsy dresses, shorts or skirts, as well as colorful tank tops and silky blouses with a pair of flip flops or tennis shoes to make up our basic summer attire. Hey, don't forget that new bathing suit for your summer beach vacation! We enjoy lounging around by the pool or just hanging around outside, maybe grilling or attending a baseball game. But summer also includes outings, trips or special events that we must attend, at which times we must dress a little more appropriately. For these occasions CHANEL ready-to-wear clothes are both affordable and definitely stylish. In today's world women everywhere can dress in beautiful colorful summer clothes. As well as throw off most of the restraints of clothes during the long hot summer months.

Summer Fun

So let us have some fun this summer, be free and flaunt that new independent woman, with a new attitude as well. And be thankful for all of the possibilities that are now available for women. Yet, at the same time, let us not forget the man in each of our lives that loves us and protects us as he also holds the keys to our independence.
