Oral health and hygiene is and has been linked to other health problems. So taking care of ones mouth is important, vitally important and not that difficult to monitor and solve.

Teeth spacing and gaps in teeth are linked to physical traits that are inherited, like one's nose shape, face shape and others.

We use several things to look our best and our teeth is one of the most obvious, because it is the most noticeable after our visible physical looks. People notice our smiles, therefore they notice our teeth, which can be an asset or a drawback especially when we want to be our most attractive.

Yet physical beauty, natural or enhanced by any amount of makeup or physical work done can not cover a heart that is dark, ugly and diseased, emotionally.

Nowadays, it seems that there is more of a focus on our mouths, not because of our health but because of our looks. How we appear to others matters but to what extent?

We seem to have forgotten that the beauty, true beauty of a person is from the inside out...

But it never hurts to improve one's physical appearance within reason and our smile and teeth can make all the difference.

Tooth gaps

Orthofill has filled a gap, no pun intended, for many of us that struggle with money issues but still want to look as beautiful as possible.

Oral health basics

  • brush teeth with a soft bristle brush, after meals especially sugary ones
  • floss, at the very least once daily
  • clean tongue by scraping because of bacterial buildup
  • gargle, twice daily

Regular visits to a dentist.

Dental suggestions, only use soft toothbrushes, this helps with not eroding the enamel of the teeth, flossing daily removes food particles that will decay and cause tooth decay, that the toothbrush can not reach.

Brush the tongue or scrape it to reduce the bacteria and buildup of food coatings, daily mouth use..

Gargling to wash away unwanted germs and particles. Peroxide is always good to use for killing germs, removing particles and entering small unnoticeable areas that contribute to an clean mouth.
