Little Things So Feminine

Updated on June 19, 2013

There are many things that make a woman feminine. While inner femininity covers the womanly nature and attitude, its outer side zeroes in on the appearance. People may see this aspect of femininity as being a little vain, but its amazing how this maidenly facet continues to awe the world.

Little things so feminine are not extremes, but they can bring you to feeling heights. These are petty little things, but clever enough to capture the hearts of the strong.

That Dainty Attire

Fluffy, lacey, filmy, satiny, silks, wools and linens are things so feminine. These are fabrics that are soft to the eye and so delightful to touch.

It helps us grow towards a happy knowledge that we are well-dressed and good to look at, which is pleasant not only to ourselves but for the world around us. You may not have fine shoulders, a tiny waist, shapely hips, or good legs, but dressing with discipline in form and taste pave the path to being so feminine. Why is it that you admire at photographs of refined girls in the past?

Your Meek High Heels

Wearing high heels is distinctively feminine. The refined arching of your foot in a high-heeled shoe with toes a little pointing intensifies your image into a woman-like splendor. It makes the legs appear longer and more shapely. It puts the accent on the best of your figure. Wearing well-fitting, conservative and comfortable high heels naturally brings you to move and glide with extra care and grace.

Some Sparkles

A brooch to me is very feminine. Old-fashioned as it sounds, a brooch looks well on all women. You can wear it on a simple blouse, sweater, evening dress or even a hat. It can make the simplest attire look marvelous and it can dress up a dark coat for evening wear.

While earrings are what define a woman as feminine, a bracelet or necklace can make her look very ladylike. She can excuse herself from wearing any other kind of jewelry, but not from wearing earrings. It is the eternal jewelry for every woman.

A Whiff of Lovely Scent

Fragrance or perfume makes a woman utterly feminine. The whiff of pleasant aroma she wears daily becomes an echo of her personality. From the way her hair smells to the overall fragrance is magic within her grasp. Dab a little on the inside of the wrist, or spray scent on pulse zones before you go. Bring the magic of spraying a drop on your handkerchief each day. The secret is - a little in a lot of places is better than a lot in one place.

Your Pampering Bath

Every girl loves a pampering bath. It is a rewarding accomplishment to be able to make herself feel good, fresh, softer, scented, prettier and more glowing not just in a space of 10 minutes, but all day long. No excuses.

A pampering bath is much more than a means of keeping clean; it is a complete beauty treatment and something to be taken and enjoyed at leisure. Bubbles, bath soaps, milk or oils to nourishing creams are little things so feminine.

Lovely Colors

Although fashion tends to associate bright pinks and purples with very young women, while deeper shades of red and purple for adult women, high color contrast and softer tone concepts are things so feminine.

Even opaque tights in fashionable colors can bring thrills of majestic appeal.

Subtle make-up is part of our colors. Not to mention that wearing it has nothing to do with how attractive you are, but make-up when handled rightly and lightly gives you just the right amount of polish and prettiness. A feminine woman is actually free to go with make-up or without.

My Definition of a True Feminine Beauty

What makes us feminine defines how we present ourselves to the world. It has nothing to do with trying to fit an image imposed by outside expectations, but by just how we should be.

True feminine beauty has a heart inspired by God. It's life displays the inner person which far outweighs what one looks like from the outside. That is when our lives will sparkle with feminine loveliness that lasts.

Being attractive is awesome. But it's not what makes anyone feminine at all. I for one very much enjoy the sound that my heels make as I walk :=) lol. I love fragrances, too. But I am not feminine just for these things. I am feminine for who I am. Anyway this is my definition, this is also the way I feel. Do you feel the same?
