Healthy, Shiny Hair Rinse - Recipe 1

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsps. Mustard Seeds
  • 2 tbsps. Fenugreek Seeds
  • 1 cup Dried Indian Gooseberry
  • 20 g Dried Lemon Rind
  • 2 cups Mustard Oil
  • 20 ml Sweet Almond Oil
  • 20 ml Castor Oil
  • 20 ml Olive Oil
  • 20 ml Jojoba Oil

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients in an airtight glass jar (Mason jar)
  2. Shake well
  3. Store in a Sunny, Warm place for 3 - 4 weeks, shaking daily
  4. Strain the oils and place into another airtight glass jar (Mason jar)
  5. Massage into scalp and hair for 5 minutes
  6. Place hot, wet towel over hair for 2 hours (Keep the towel hot and wet)
  7. Wash thoroughly with MILD shampoo (use conditioner if you wish)
  8. Repeat once a week
  9. Store remaining mixture in cool, dark, dry place

Healthy, Shiny Hair Rinse - Recipe 2

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. Cedarwood Essential Oil (Atlas or Virginian)
  • 1 tbsp. Grape Seed Carrier Oil
  • 4 tbsps. Avocado Carrier Oil
  • 4 tbsps. Jojoba Carrier Oil
  • 1 tbsps. Castor Oil

Directions

  1. Mix together well in a glass container
  2. Heat slightly in double boiler (Can use a microwave on low heat as well - if you do, add Essential Oil after heating)
  3. Massage the scalp (Make sure mixture is cool enough to not burn your scalp)
  4. Let sit for 3 hours
  5. Wash thoroughly with MILD shampoo (may use Conditioner if you wish)
  6. Pat dry

  • 8 tbsps. Aloe Vera (Can use gel from general stores)
  • 3 tbsps. Castor Oil

Directions

  1. Mix ingredients together
