Tongue Tattoos

The tattoos you can get today and now we have tongue tattoos, like in the funny picture above they may look ok, but are they a good choice of tattoo to get? Well many people thinks so, judging by the amount of links I see on the Internet about tongue tattoos and there are lots of different designs to choose from in this area of tattoos, although the surface area is quite small for a really detailed design.

Tongue tattoos are another of the trends that have overtaken eye lid tattoos and secret appendage  (like that phrase!?) tattoos as one of the most popular type of tattoos that most consider bizarre, but each to their own I guess!

Many people opt to have their complete tongue tattooed a different colour, so you may see people with orange ,red, purple or blue tongues and you may think they've been at the fizzy sherbet, but no, they want to be seen with funky coloured tongues so they can lick whatever they want and have a chuckle to themselves that they've licked a lolly with a green tongue ha ha, hilarious!

Imagine having your tongue tattooed black!! in fact if you're going to do that, then why not tattoo your whole face as a zombie and be done with it.

As I mentioned before since the area of the tongue is very small(unless you've got an ant eaters tongue, which the ladies may like, although with ants in their pants, they may re-think that!) you can get small and neat tattoos on the tongue, such as stars near the tip of the tongue or an eyeball is a favourite of some people, but what others get is entirely up to them, such as some rudey tats of willies, ball sacks and even lady money slots.

Apparently the procedure for tongue tattoos is very similar, with the needles of the tattoo gun pricking the outer membrane(skin) of the surface of the tongue and filling in ink underneath and when the ink pigments have had time to be absorbed, the ink is there forever.

By all accounts that I've read online is that a tongue tattoo doesn't hurt as much as a regular skin tattoo and some have described a feeling of numbness in their mouth and a tickling sensation when getting tattooed on the tongue, if you've ever had your tongue pierced you'll know that that wouldn't have took that long by holding your tongue out for a few minutes or so, but with a tongue tattoo it could take awhile to get your tattoo done as you have to stick your tongue out for awhile, maybe that's why it goes numb!!

To get a tongue tatoo, you'll have to find an artist who has done it before as it requires some past experience in holding your tongue out and tattooing such a delicately small muscle, and in looking around you may find that most tattoos haven't had much call for a tongue tattoo, so you may have to get your glasses out and look anywhere you can.

A tongue tattoo could look quite cool, but would you see me getting one, no because I'm too scared!!
